Product -
The term product can be described as an item that
organization manufacturers to offer to the target
segment of customers. The product mix of Samsung
is as follows -
The electronic products of Samsung are designed at
nearly 6 design centres, and they are developed in
approximately 53 global production bases. The
company also has 34 centres of research and
development that are involved in developing new
products. The products of Samsung are divided into
three divisions and there are more than one category
of the product under each division.
Consumer electronics The products under this
category are digital appliances business, visual
display business, printing solutions business etc.
IT & Mobile Communications – There are various
products under this category. Such as mobile
communications business, network business etc.
Device solutions – Under the category of device
solutions there are products such as system LSI
business, memory business etc.
There are various products of the company that has
won various types of recognition and awards such as
Gold Award in the product category of Design by Design
in 2015. It has also won award of Best Product Award in
8 categories by BLI Summer Pick Award etc.
Marketing Mix:
The term marketing mix refers to the set of
tactics, actions that firm uses to promote its product
or services, brand in the market. It helps to improve
profitability of the business. One of the major
element of marketing mix is the product.
