INTRODUCTION
Sustainable Operations and Supply Chain Management refers to the use of the various
types of approaches and methods under which the maximization of the overall level of
performance of the different types of organizations can be done which is quite helpful in
ensuring that the attainment of the overall goals and objectives in the future can be done quite
effectively and efficiently in the right manner (Bhardwaj, 2016). This report is based on
Samsung. It is a South Korean multinational company which is headquartered in Samsung Town,
Seoul. In this report, there will be assessment of the use of methods and techniques through
which the overall level of performance in the organizations can be made better effectively and
efficiently.

Samsung is a South Korean Company which deals in providing electronic products to the
different types of customers in the market (Liu and et.al., 2017). Therefore, in this way it can be
said that the company is able to meet out the wide range of needs and requirements of the
customers which helps in ensuring their higher satisfaction level effectively and efficiently.
Thus, it is quite important that the analysis of the company can be done prior to making a
strategy about the way the use of methods and techniques can be made so that the level of
performance can be maximized. The details about the company are as follows-
 Products and Services- Samsung is a company which provides a wide range of
electronic products to the customers like Refrigerators, A.C., T.V., Smartphones etc.
Therefore in this manner it can be said that this company can ensure that the wide range
of products are provided to the customers. Apart from this the company provides
different services to the customers like Home Delivery of the products, Installation of the
products etc. which helps in enhancing their overall satisfaction level.
 Delivery- This refers to the processes which are used by the organization to schedule a
delivery of its products. Samsung is a big company and therefore has efficient logistics. It
also has big warehouses located in the different parts of the world and has tie-ups with
the different e-commerce service providers through which it is able to provide its services
to the customers.
 Quality standards- This means the different types of quality standards which are
required to be followed in order to provide the best products and services to the
customers. In the context of Samsung, it can be said that it is able to maintain the best
quality standards for its products which is helpful for it in ensuring that it is able to
provide the best products and services to the different types of customers in the market.
Therefore, in this way it is quite important that the desired level of importance is given to

these standards which help in ensuring that the different types of goals and objectives can
be attained by the company in the future quite effectively and efficiently in the right
manner.
 Supply chain- It is crucial that the use of efficient processes and methods can be made so

and objectives. For the company, it is crucial that the efficiency and effectiveness can be

Visibility- It means the value chain of all of the company’s processes put together.
Samsung therefore has to make sure that its different processes are visible to the
customers and therefore helps in attracting them so that they can purchase the products

company.

faced in the functions like Production, HR, Finance, Marketing etc. and therefore this is
creating an impact on the level of operations within the company badly. Thus, it is
affecting the way the best services are required to be provided to the customers and is
leading towards lack of satisfaction of the customers.
Thus, it can be said that the deviations from the good practice/theoretical models are
being witnessed in Samsung and it is quite crucial that the right measures can be taken
quite effectively and efficiently so that these deviations can be sorted out and this will be
very helpful in taking the company towards the attainment of success in the future which
