Introduction
In this present paper, we will discuss the reason that data management is problematic at ARI.
The paper also describes the capabilities of ARI for data analysis and reporting and its impact on
the business, the reason that SAP HANA is a good solution for ARI, and changes in the business
due to the adoption of HANA.
Automotive resources international is the largest secretly held organization for the vehicle
armada administration department. Headquarter is located in Mt. Shrub, New Jersey it operates
in Europe, North America, Hong Kong and the UK and it has 2500 representatives.
Data analysis and its impact on business
There is a major problem in managing the data from various functions so that the data has turned
out in the progressively testing. The substantial business vehicle armada has developed high
values of complex information such as information on the utilization of fuel, authorizing,
upkeep, and consistency. The fuel change requires various information such as fuel review; state
charges paid, some sold, add up to deal, place and time of the procurement. The preventive
upkeep checkup and straight forward brake employment have produced various records for every
part that is served. ARI was providing client customized data, but the data was extremely
constrained. So ARI can create special reports on upkeep records, vehicle buys, detail uses, and
other operational data which exhibits as a basic spreadsheet, diagrams, and outlines. However,

ARI can conduct detector information analysis for individual client whereas it was not ready for
the total information over its customer base. It enables to enhance the company in order to

provide the customer the ability to reassign the internal resources into the new position within
the fleet organization. The ARI enable to develop accurate date for the assignment fields and
vehicle status. But the data is much more precise due to which customers are not able to
determine unassigned and underutilized vehicles and sold approximately 600 vehicles from the
fleet. At the time of selling 600 vehicles the internal employee reassignment and improvement in
efficiency has shown to the customers that approximately $1.6 Million has saved in the first three
months after the implementation. After initial implementation, there is a sustainable efficiency
and workflow improvement which provides continues yield savings.
SAP HANA good solution for ARI
SAP HANA is the good solution for ARI as the SAP is the business intelligence tool and
business objects explorer which allows the user to analyze the business intelligence data. The
results are shown in a chart due to which it does not require to create queries in order to search
the data which shows the accurate information matches. The representation of results in graphs is
changed due to the further questions by the user. The work has done in an effective and smooth
manner. The query data of HANA'S is stored in RAM instead of hard disk. The results from SAP
and HANA are produced in 3-3.5 seconds (Guide et al., 2015).
Changes in the business due to change in HANA adoption
The current database information is transformed into multiple user Microsoft SQL server
database by HANA, and the database was front end with the browser that has thin client
application. It enables the customers to manage their contact information vs. every employee of

ARI is trying to maintain the information of all users (Furtner et al., 2016). The system was
rebuilt due to the following reasons:
To develop an administrative view for all data
To develop effective contact management
To maintain secure data for each sales person
To segment the contacts
By this time the request can be received by the call center staff in order to deliver the
requested information.
