Project summary
The project aims in implementation of SAP to manage the business operations of Yes
Chemist. The SAP deployment project started in 25-07-16 and ended in Fri 07-10-16.
The entire project was divided into a number of phases for enforcing a better control
on the project. However, the project could not be completed as per the schedule
leading as few of the task in interim was delayed and it ended on Thu 13-10-16.
This status report is prepared to understand the project delays and to reflect on the
course of implementation of the project.

Since the task 5, that is, develop project plan actually took 1 week to complete, the
milestone “Plan signed off”, is delayed to Wed 03-08-16. The status date of the project is set
to Wed 03-08-16.

Risk and Issues
The SAP project in Yes Chemist was although implemented as the plan, the major issue that
was faced in the project was delay. The delay was faced in the initial phase of the project
that affected the entire schedule. In order to complete the task on the planned time, it is
essential to invest on the coordination among the team members. An effective team

coordination can help in minimizing the project delays. The delays in the project lead to
variance in the schedule and the cost, which are indicated as follows-
