AI Summary
This report presents an analysis of bird strike data using SAS analytical tools, focusing on identifying patterns and trends within the dataset. The analysis begins with creating a data dictionary and exploring different species involved in bird strikes, calculating pilot warning percentages, and identifying airline operators. The project visualizes the data using geomaps, analyzes airport-specific data, and performs cluster analysis to identify subgroups. The findings highlight key factors such as aircraft types, precipitation conditions, and the most costly wildlife species involved in strikes. The report concludes with a discussion of the findings and recommendations based on the analysis, offering insights into the risk factors associated with bird strikes and potential mitigation strategies. The report utilizes various data sources including wildlife species, airline bird strikes, aircraft data, and cost information to provide a comprehensive overview of the issue. This report provides valuable insights for students studying big data analytics and related fields.

Executive summary
In this project to analyse the bird strike data by using the SAS analytical tool. First task
is to create a data dictionary for the given dataset and analyse the different species that have been
involved in bird strikes. Then calculate the percentage of times for pilot being warned of birds,
large wildlife and medium wildlife (Liao and Lee, 2013).To calculate how many instances are
present in the dataset and to investigate particular bird’s data. Plot the geomap for the bird strikes
which used to find the place for birds and then calculate the sum of the total records. Compare
the bird strike cost per airport. The goal of the analysis was to identify the bird strike record and
develop analytical models with these risk factors. The analysis is based on all the categories and
measures the value dataset and an analysis of the particular data for category dataset. The
category dataset contains the aircraft data, airplane data, origin state, wildlife size and wild life
species data’s. The data containing the information about wildlife species dataset than measures
which is used for calculating the number of data present in this dataset. The analysis has used
data sources such as wildlife species, airline bird strikes, aircraft data, bald eagle, Canadian
goose, pilot warned of bird strike, altitude bin, total cost and time of service. To find the analysis
with a high prevalence of individual data in multiple records ID’s which would make it difficult
to obtain consistent for the individual affected. Compare the two variable data’s which used to
describe the cluster difference from one another in terms of the two variable’s used. Two models
are developed by using SAS analytical tools for analysis of the overall fatality risk. The
hierarchy approach required applications of the resolution process. Create a hierarchy process for
bird strikes dataset to analyse the dataset and use it to create the decision process.

Background
The objective of this project is to analyze the bird strikes data using SAS programming of
the visualization on the cloud application. Data Analysis using SAS Cloud Usage is considered
for the initial phase, the SAS cloud apparatus creates a group and the bird strikes are definitively
defined as a bird between a plane or aircraft or aircraft or ground roll (A Survey of SNP Data
Analysis, 2018). The terms are often spent in hunting of ground bird strikes are common and a
significant threat to aircraft safety. Analyze the data that can first create the group data for the
dataset. Analyze the aircraft of the Bird strikes dataset that contains the analyzed categories of
the data fields, which contains include the Airlines operators, aircraft flight number, aircraft
model, type of aircraft operation, aircraft name, flight date, freedom enroute, indicated derange,
impact to flight data field, analyzing the sky condition of the aircraft operation service,
precipitation, aircraft number, wide life number, altitude bin of the data analysis using cloud SAS
programming application. The birds can detect airplane landing lights and weather radar and can
avoid the airplane. The bird strikes are issues on the airplanes and engine operation working and
spinner making which affects the aircraft operation system.

The dataset contains the times when the pilot was warned of the birds which is used for
calculating the percentage of that times (Buelens, 2016). The pilot warned data is then visualized
on the SAS analytical page which is then used for calculating the value for the wildlife date.
It shows the visualization table for pilot warned dataset and the frequency for that data. It
contains the missing data, yes and no dataset that calculates the total data present in the dataset.
