Journal and Reflective Writing
AI Summary
This reflective journal entry discusses the student's learning experience in a week six lecture on Project Schedule Management, focusing on PERT analysis. The reflection analyzes the PERT and CPM theories, comparing their application in project scheduling, and evaluating them using the DIEP framework. The student describes the concepts of PERT, CPM, and their three time estimates. The journal highlights the student's questions, interpretations, and evaluations of the methods, including their practical implications in project planning, execution, and time management. The student expresses their intention to apply these learnings throughout their course and future career in project management, including the use of these analysis and effective management skills as they practice on the project manager by analysing and interviewing the techniques and raising the questions related to the project management and understanding of these theory.

Introduction
The objective of this learning reflection is to discuss impact of learning in the week six
lecture delivery on the topic “Project Schedule Management-PERT” that discuss PERT
analysis and its concepts in detail manner (Agyei, 2015). This reflection will analyse the
PERT, CPM theory, and their evaluation in the project scheduling management with detailed
analysis on the base of DIEP base.
Describe
This week suggested reading Project Scope, Time, and Cost Management presented Project
Schedule Management-PERT, a theory that evaluate the program and review the techniques
to maintain the accurate outcomes. This lectures presentation developed historical data about
establishment and effectiveness of the PERT, representing the PERT as the probabilistic tool.
It has measured the PERT with the CPM. This article gave a detailed analysis and real-time
comparison between the CPM and PERT that discusses the three estimates of activity
duration. Its duration management include m= most likely, a= the most optimistic and b=
pessimistic time estimate (Mazlum & Güneri, 2015). Both of the theories are utilised to
manage the effective project method.
Interpret
Project management is easily applicable to a systematic planning, executing, monitoring, and
controlling the numerous variables and aspects of a project. I used to examine the
applicability of the taught methods to measure their effective outcomes in the project
planning and management. I eagerly raise the queries to understand the concepts that confuse
me a little bit, as like if effective evaluation of real-time calculation or the reason behind the
differences in the outcomes by the CPM and PERT. I seek for the active involvement in the

project management activity and detailed discussion about the mutual approach for planning
the network and for establishing its critical path. (Chatwal, 2014)
Evaluate
Asking the questions, analysing the processing, and application of the PERT in the projects
management allow me to take interest with confidence. It increase my skills to focus in the
probabilistic module including the time, and three time estimates and highly suitable for a
high precision time estimates in the project management planning and execution. I managed
to understand difference between the CPM and PERT application with effective analysis of
the situation and quality management (Dannyanti, 2010). Effective evaluation is helpful to
apply the learning in the practical implications.
Plan
I believe this new learning and understanding will be useful throughout my course learning
and degree, this understanding will help me to apply these learning styles and techniques in
the practical and real life activities. Active understanding about practical implications in the
project management, planning and scheduling of the three dimensions in the effective
management, I will use these analysis and effective management skills as I practice on the
project manager by analysing and interviewing the techniques and raising the questions
related to the project management and understanding of these theory.
