Introduction
The case study that is included in this project is the case study of Gold Cinema that wants
to implement a new online system of ticket booking. The system wants to automate the booking
of ticket to the customer who can view their shows running and can select their show timing
accordingly. This report states the system analysis and design for the GC system that is to be
developed. System analysis includes the analysis of the system that includes understanding the
need of human from the system and the input of data that the humans need to give in the system
(Dennis, Wixom and Roth 2018). This report include system design where the system analysts
needs to identify the problems and the find out proper solution to solve the problems. This report
helps to design, analyze as well as implement the improvements that are needed to support the
system (Putri 2017). This system analysis helps to make improvements in the system and
accomplish all such features that the user needs from the new system. This report also states the
different processes of system development that are needed to complete developing a system. As
developing of new system includes very crucial processes and those have to be managed by the
project manager (Oyelere et al. 2018). Those processes are being managed with six processes
and this report describes all the processes that are needed to develop the system.
Six Core processes of SDLC
SDLC includes a framework that helps to define all the important steps that are needed to
develop the system. This phase includes detailed planning for building the system, planning it
and maintaining the software process of the system (Egwoh and Nonyelum 2017). The six
processes that are to be included in the development process of the gold Cinema system are

1. Analyzing the requirement of the system and gathering the requirement: In this phase,
requirement is being gathered from the client and those requirement are to be analyzed so as to
start the development of the project.
2. Designing the system: This phase include system designing where the system that is to
be developed is to be designed as per the client requirement and the SRS document for the
system is to be written so that it gets complete within time.
3. Implementation and the coding phase: The system development needs implementation
of the project and including coding for the project (Saeed and Memon 2018). The software
design of the system is translated to coding in this phase.
4. Testing phase of the system: In the testing phase, the systems that are being coded and
programmed are tested within the system development. This project testing is once carried out
before integrating the sub-systems and them final testing is to be done when the system gets
completed and all integration process is being completed in the project.
5. Deployment phase: Deployment test includes deploying the system in the environment
that is it is being tested whether it satisfies the user acceptance criteria for the system (Kennedy
2019).
6. Maintenance phase: maintenance phase helps to maintain the security and helps to fix
all the issues that might be included in the project.

The above diagram shows the pert chart for the activities that are involved in developing
the project. In the above diagram, the red path that is included in the project is the critical path
and that is the longest path that project needs to complete with all necessary activities to
complete the project. The critical path and the critical activities are shown in the diagram above.
The diagram also shows the early start, early finish and the slack of the activities included in the
project schedule. The total time to complete the project 31 days and all different phases has
different completing time.
