This modern-day scenario is the age of changes. So, it is really essential that people start
thinking out of the box and move towards innovation. I want the University to try and cover
some new kind of news than the rest. This is mainly because of the fact that the online news
media is busy covering the mainstream news. Being a reader, I feel that the news that is usually
covered by the University news is often negative and it readers terror among all the readers. For
an instance as a reader, I would like to get inspired by watching some good and positive news
rather than watching the news of some murders or some theft.
I have been an active follower and reader of the University online news network. I feel
that it is really very handy and useful for the University students. They can access the University
online website and use it for the purpose of staying updated. As I stay in regular contact with this
online news site I have good knowledge about the news that it usually covers. For an instance,
after logging in into the online news site, the most common news that I get to see are the
murders, robberies, thefts, women being molested and other such news. As a reader, I feel that
this might be a useful piece of information but at the same time it is really very depressing and it
gives a lot of negative vibes.
As a reader, I would like to see some good and inspiring news like some poor student
getting very good marks and getting a University scholarship or some physically disabled person
being able to get a good job after overcoming the disease. The University news site must try to
feature the success stories of these people who can actually act as our heroes. This kind of news
will really be very inspiring for the University students. As a reader and a student, I feel that
these inspiring pieces of news will be very helpful for shaping the personality of the students
who might often feel very depressed or demotivated due to the career pressure.

I think that the University news link is only covering the mainstream news that takes
place on a daily basis. Every morning after waking up the news often fills me with some kind of
unknown fear. As a reader I feel that I would not like to watch something fearful right in the
morning. After logging into the online University news channel, I mostly get to see some news
about murders taking place in and around the city. Often the news content features the gruesome
pictures of old women and children being brutally beaten up and looted on the street by some
local goons. I also do not like the way many of the news anchors portray the news. They often
use the tagline “terrible! Isn’t it?" As a reader, I feel that this is really very depressing for young
readers.
Thus, I would like the University to cover some positive and inspiring news like the
success stories of some poverty-stricken student, who has achieved good heights by putting in a
lot of effort and hard work. Apart from this, they can also cover some other news like the success
tips from some entrepreneurs.
