Dear Mrs, A
SCHOOL ADMISSION APPEAL FOR LEEAM TINOTENDA MUSEKIWA TO ATTEND ST JOSEPH`S
HIGH SCHOOL
I would like to appeal against the decision of the admission authority not to offer Leeam
Tinotenda Musekiwa a place at St Joseph Catholic and Anglican High School
I set out below the grounds for my appeal:
Leeam has been attending a church school St Giles primary school since reception of which
I understand that is a feeder school for St Joseph Catholic and Anglican High School. I have
provided all necessary documentation to meet your admission criteria, which mainly
includes a baptism certificate and supporting information which has been provided by the
church elder from Methodist Church. I do believe that, the admission arrangements were
not correct and has been impartially applied in my case. This has resukted in decline in the
offer of Leeam Tinotenda Musekiwa at St Joseph Catholic and Anglican High School.
Here, you can explain here what error you believe has been
I believe you considered our catchment area of Southsea to come up with you decision but I
want to urge this by saying Leeam has been attending all his primary schooling at St Giles
with no issues. I hope your decision was not based on distance factor either as a main
criterion or a tiebreak. I believe that the school can accommodate Leeam without causing
prejudice. I will provide more information after I have received the admission authority’s
case in due course.
Why I would like CHILD’S NAME to attend SCHOOL NAME.
As we are of Christian background and Leeam attended church school since his early years I
would like him to continue his schooling in Catholic and Anglican school. The key reason
behind joing church school is that, such school tends to have better reputation when
compared with the secular school. Church school tends to have clear set of moral guidelines
which helps children to abide. This in turn helps in reducing issues and tends to create

better environment for learning and teaching. I could love Leam to attend St Joseph’s high
school because the school helps students properly prepare for their careers in a world of
secularism by teaching them spiritual tools, values and knowledge. Church school in turn
helps in developing religious belief and self develppmentin order to live life with high degree
of moral and dignity. Catholic school in turn tends to create strong foundation within the
child by giving daily lessons related with Catholic faith. Scholarly statistics and scientific facts
prove that the school experience has a profound effect on students, so the school choice
was not a problem and I as a parent will stick with my values for my son to attend a church
school. St Joseph`s school was my one and only preferred choice for my son to attend. They
focus on imparting knowledge and helps build up the personal character of the child.
I am looking forward to hear from you with necessary details of when the appeal can be
heard.
Yours truly.
