INTRODUCTION
The following proposal will be highlighting the key themes that will be depicting the areas in
which the school lacks that has a vital impact on the learning activity. Certain issues faced by the
specific demographic that is the lower classes which falls below the line of poverty will be
mentioned. These significant issues acts as hindrance to the development of the student coming
from these societies which will be giving a wider aspect that will be covered in the report.
Modern learning problem top this society will be thoroughly stated in context with the digital
poverty which was seen majorly during and after pandemic. Moreover, the proposal will be
recommending various strategies and methods to the institute that can help in healing the issues
caused by these problems which can ensure higher enrolment of the students.
MAIN BODY
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the themes the school might want to consider
Underperforming demographics within the learner population
Demographic refers to the difference between specifications in term of income, gender and
many societal specifications. This difference between the students creates a major issue of
underperforming as there are various factors that impact the learning activity in under privileged
students. The lack of income is one of the biggest factor behind the inability of students to learn
and increase their intellectual level. Lower household income may enforce an increase the child
labour rate which have a direct impact on their academics. Many lower class families suffering
going through poverty is unable to en roll their wards in school and engage them in the earning
activities for household which full fills their basic needs such as food, clothes etc. Unavailability
of resources to various sections of the society is another outcome of low earning in household
that effects the learning capacity of the students and make them fall under the category of
underperforming students.
Not only on resource but the psychological aspects is also one of the important area which is
impacted due to the demographic differences. Student coming from the backwards class of the
society may feel pressure and anxiety that is developed by their concern for the household. This
factor stops them to sheerly focus on the concepts taught in the class which leads to their
ineffective performance and failure.

Disadvantages through cases of digital poverty
Digital poverty describes the lack of technological resources to the students that come from low
income households. Unavailability of technological resources includes not having laptop, proper
internet connection, some digital tools etc. which eventually impacts the learning activity in a
negative way (Nugroho and Atmojo, 2020). Covid-19 pandemic is the major factor that has
raised and enlightened this issue as the schools were closed due to the lock down restriction
imposed in the country. To continue the learning activity the educational institutes adopted the
digital learning methods that helped in doing so. Students of high income households didn't face
major issues in adoption of these methods because of the availability of digital resources with
them. On the other hand students from backward or underprivileged sections of the society faced
high barriers in the adoption of these methods as they didn't have necessary resources for
attending online classes.
Disadvantages of the digital poverty has continued to effect the academics of the student after the
lifting of lock down as well. The education sector has become habitual to the digital methods of
learning which has now entered the premises of institution as well. Various schools have adopted
e-learning and digital learning methods as it lead to better understanding of concept by the
students. Need of digital equipment such as upgraded computer systems has increased in the
pandemic and the reduction in demand of these resources have remained constant after the
pandemic as well.
Inconsistency of teachers in delivering the lecture and its impact on student motivation
Teaching activity needs a consistency in every aspect of the job as it directly effects the students
and their etiquettes. Every aspect of the behaviour of teacher influence the mindset of students in
both positive and negative way. The teaching staff in the school is very in consistence which
impacts the behaviour and learning of the students as the schedule is disturbs buy this
inconsistency. Student motivation is impacted by this as the schedule is disrupted by teachers
which lack the time management in the institute. Scheduled course is not completed in the given
period and it leads to overburdening on students. Every subject has assigned a particular time
which is not followed by the teachers in the school which is then completed in hurry. This
increases misconception in the mindset of students which eventually effects their motivation as
there is a lot of things that has to be learned by them in very less time. Pressure on students

increases when the assessments are done at the completion of course which impacts their mental
health and they et demotivate towards study.
Clear review of the developments in the given area
Education acts as a catalyst in developing the personality of an individual by upgrading their
intellectual level. Enhancement and improvement in the education sector can be noticed in recent
times as various institutes have adopted the methods that can help in better understanding of the
concepts for students without putting a burden on their health. This focus have proved to be an
effective strategy in improvising the capability of the students to catch up new concept. The
practical application of concept is one of the highly focused areas that is taught in school these
days which increases both the practical and theoretical knowledge of students. The education
field has grown immensely with the help of technological factor that have provided a firm
support in the learning aspect (Blake and et.al., 2020). Various technological aspect have helped
the education top reach the students residing in remote areas through online mode that has shown
support to the increasing literacy rate of the country. Various factors that have played a vital role
in development of educational sector is thoroughly described below:
Online Teaching
This teaching method has come in lime light during the pandemic as it helped to continue the
learning process in the difficulty times of Covid. It eliminated the major threat of Covid through
remote l;earning facilities. It has helped the education sector after the lock down also as it was
one of the most preferred method because it reduced the risk of getting the disease. It helped in
maintaining health safeties of students without disruption in their study. The online learning
method that is adopted by many institutions has helped them to teach the students in remote areas
who are unable to travel to the location where the school is located. The online learning method
is also availed by the teachers when the students are unable to reach the schools due to various
environmental factors.
Informal education methods
This education is mainly perceived by the educational institutes that are aiming to do charity in
the form of teaching. These organization reaches the individuals who have been unable to afford
the expenses comes with the education to provide them free teachings. Many of such institutes
gives scholarships to the students coming from low income households instead of directly
teaching them (Joosten and et.al., 2020). This scholarship helps them to get education from the

reputed institutes which further helps in making a good career. Informal education methods
impacts the literacy rate of the country positively which includes financially backwards classes
as well.
Hybrid learning
The hybrid learning method is one of the most preferred method these days which has increased
the scope of educational sector. The hybrid learning refers to the method of teaching in both
online and offline mode. This learning methods aim towards enhancing the intellectual
knowledge of students bin theoretical and practical aspects. Through this method students at
remote areas can take offline classes in specified period of time if they can't attend it frequently.
This method of learning enables the student to attend live lectures that are taking place in the
schools. This helps the students to gain knowledge in the scheduled time without delaying the
process because of any barrier.
Introduction of technology in the premises
It can be seen that the educational institutes has introduced technology in their premises which
has helped in teaching the students efficiently. This idea of teaching is developed after seeing an
immense use of technology among the students. Use of technological method for teaching has
increased the understanding level of the students as their interest in learning different concepts
through this unique method helps in remembering different concepts (Poultsakis and et.al.,
2021). Majorly, the mart class is one of the most preferred methods for teaching the students
through technology which presents the concept in a manner that the students can thoroughly
understand it. The objectification of concepts is the key driver towards the success of this method
as it explains the concepts through visual representation.
Use of artificial intelligence
The artificial intelligence is the computer program which is introduced in the sector that is
adopted by some big educational institute. This technology helps the students to learn from the
designed computer program. This artificial program substitutes the teaching professional by a
machine which is developed in such a way that it can understand the student's behaviour and can
formulate a technique to teach them the concept in a manner that can be remembered by the
learner. Although, it is not fully upgraded to the level that is needed but it has somehow
contributed in the up gradation of education sector.

the institute in the perspective of the society. This can attract the parents who are diverted
towards social values which can increase the number of admission. Informal teaching sessions
can be provided on a frequent basis to uplift the knowledge of children who can't afford the
minimum fees as well. Technological equipments can be provided to the students who have
performed well in the assessments which can help in retention of students every year, and they
will be motivated to learn more. Improvement in students performance will increase the overall
results of the institute.
Unbiased behaviour of teachers
The management in the institute has to make sure that the teachers are not biased towards any
category of the student or an individual (Sousa and Rocha, 2019). Unbiased nature of the teacher
towards the student can impact their learning as the learner may get demotivated with this
behaviour. This aspect can be focused by interviewing the teachers accordingly to make sure that
they won't do such wrongful acts in the premises. Interview of the students can be taken on a
frequent basis where they are asked about any misbehaviour from the side of teachers.
Complaints on any faculty has to be worked upon immediately.
