Introduction
In today’s generation, the role of teaching is important for guiding individuals to
develop so that they can contribute effectively to the society. There is a requirement for
development of partnership between schools and universities so that the overall quality of
education can be improved. The education system is changing rapidly as different courses are
coming up such as linguistics which helps students to learn regarding languages spoken in
different countries (Journals.sagepub.com., 2020). The main reason for such development of
partnership is because of extensive impacts of globalization and changing economy on higher
education system. The traditional approach to learning in a University was subjected to
specialization in one course but this concept has recently become outdated (Partnering with
U.S. Universities. 2014). There is a sudden need for transforming the educational structure so
that the learning can start from an early stage and further diversify in the stage of higher
education. The research paper would be reviewing school universities partnership agreements
in US and how the same is impacting the overall education system in the country.
The move to bring about partnership between Schools and Universities in US is also
because the US Institution of Higher education is looking to attract more international
students and thereby integrate their perspectives and cultures in the educational system which
is followed. It is to be noted that globalization has reached such a level that education system
needs to transform in order to make competitive and perfect individuals. Furthermore, the
research would be showing the unique circumstances under which different partnership
agreements are formed and the aim of the universities in such an aspect. One of the motives
for universities might be to attract more foreign students in their curriculum while another
university motive might be to establish faculty exchanges or joint-degree programs (Monk et
al., 2014). Another motive which can be identified for such a program is that the education
system wants to retain talented individuals and for the same purpose scholarships and

concessions are also provided to students who are brilliant in academics (Blessinger & Cozza,
2016). In addition to this, many experts are also of the opinion that joint collaboration of
schools and Universities would assist in better development of students and the same would
help in growth for the education system as well.
The research paper would be arguing about the relevant teacher education programs
which can assist the partnership between schools and universities. One of the challenges
which can be identified in the partnership program is the collaboration mode in terms of
studies and culture so that it can achieve success. Therefore, the aspects on which the
research paper would be emphasizing more are listed below:
The international trends which is the main reason for establishment of partnership
agreement between school and Universities.
School-University partnership agreements considering the trends which are present in
the global market.
Resources or infrastructure which is required to support such a program.
Research Question
1. How can Universities and Schools appropriately collaborate their curriculum so that
the student can get the best knowledge considering the global trends?
