AI Summary
This document presents a report on various science activities designed to enhance understanding of scientific concepts. The report details three primary activities: the use of visual images, making a pinhole camera, and the use of analogies in science education. The first activity discusses concept cartoons as visual representations of scientific ideas, promoting discussion and exploration of student's ideas. The second activity provides instructions for constructing a pinhole camera, explaining its functionality and its ability to capture images, comparing its function to GALEX, and understanding photographic principles. The third activity focuses on the use of analogies in science, exploring how they can illuminate complex ideas and facilitate learning, discussing their limitations and benefits, and providing examples of their application in the classroom. The report highlights the importance of these activities in fostering a deeper understanding of scientific principles and encouraging critical thinking among students. The report also describes the student's understanding of the subject, the importance of using analogies in the classroom, and the limitations of analogies in the classroom.

Task 2
Activity 1:
The use of visual images (i.e. photographs, abstracts, models) has become essential to science,
and their use allows researchers to connect and discuss complex, unrecognizable wonders in a
number of ways. Despite the abundance of research in the scientific direction of visual images,
the essence of that study has been fundamentally based on functional understanding when visual
images are used and less on visual images as epistemic articles. In this article, we argue that by
positioning visual imagery as epistemic elements of logical practice, science teaching can
welcome a re-established center on how production helps develop scientific knowledge from the
perspective of students.
Concept cartoons:
Concept cartoons for children are a visual representation of scientific ideas. The basic images of
the animation style present a wide range of perspectives on scientific ideas in situations that are
meant to awaken and connect to the subconscious and invigorate the conversation about their
ideas.

They consider useful perspectives on learning and have human characters that promote a variety
of alternatives, welcoming the subconscious to validate their ideas and explain their logical
profile just as it thinks about the thoughts of others. The reason for the chosen thoughts is that
students encounter psychological vulnerability and inhibition. Positive thinking depends on
exploring the usual areas of misunderstanding in science, with the right thinking right in mind for
alternatives.
Activity 2:
Activity name: Making a pinhole camera
A pinhole camera is a lightweight test box. Light enters case by small pine hole at a side and then
hits the other mass of the case, where light paper or film (or even CCD) records a picture. The
taped picture is upside down (as in all cameras) as well as shone because the rays of light, that
travel in a straight line, do not cross the inside of the chest.

A pinhole camera is a bit against “innovation”. This is very unusual for GALEX. However, it
does use some similar standards. Sometimes it’s fun to go back to basics and create several thing
through our hands which we can realize as well as usage with imagination.
The Southern Pinwheel Galaxy, or M83, appeared in bright light in this image. NASA's Galaxy
Evolution Explorer (GALEX) rocket took this image of the M83 between March 15 and May 20,
for a full start-up season of 3 hours and 42 minutes. In fact, this is one of the “deepest” or longest
introductory picture of a near world ever taken in full light.
Several GALEX photos show hours of a few hours. GALEX not only “sees” the unrecognizable
light frequency in our eyes, but also controls the light that is too close to list even its subtle
signals without distracting them search for an extremely long time. The GALEX images will
therefore be light images recorded over time, in this way known data which must be secret.
On Earth, using normal visible light, we can also develop a solitary picture of a light filmed over
time. Obviously a lighthearted picture or video is recorded over time, but it's an improvement on
quick previews, compared to both light and time recorded on a similar medium. A pine hole
camera, which is easily made from conventional materials and uses standard film, can be placed
anywhere and left for a few minutes to record the photons entered. Like GALEX, it can be
placed in medium or near dim light and, if left open long enough, will record a view of what is
happening in the field of view.
Activity:
1. it is essential that pattern page of photocopy must be of exact size as well as in this their must
be no enhancement or minimization of pattern. Camera is developed appropriate the size of 35
mm film canisters.
2. The scotch tape uncut page related to pattern piece to the non printed side of cardboard. In this
case if page will not fit on box without the pattern piece lying on cereal box folds, then cut page
apart which is above the film chamber piece and after that lay piece on other half of the box. In
this it is essential to use straightedge, ball point pen as well as score all fold lines. After that
press hard as well as in this it is essential to use red or blue pen because that will aid a person in
determining which line they already scored.
3. In this X acto knife used, in which first cut will be holed in the camera piece. After a person
cut the round holes through film spools, in this it is essential to nit cut very big hole that light
leaks out. If a person didn't respective knife then first cut will be conducted on camera body

Pinhole Camera: A basic camera that uses a pine hole to illuminate a surface behind it. All
images taken with a pinhole camera are inverted: the top turns into the bottom, on the left it is
right. This is also called a dark camera.
The use of a pinhole camera was more common. A pinhole camera was cost effective, allowing
an artist to take (i.e. draw) images that were not previously suitable for duplication through the
temperature or darkness of the camera. The pinhole camera works similar to the darkroom in that
a small space on the side of a measured box of the work area captures an image of the divider
opposite. As light rays travel in a straight line, the image has definitely changed. The mirrors
inside the camera box show the image on top of the case, so, all of whom thought it was a
craftsman, move the image to the paper.

Today, with the release of the film and, at present, computer PCs wrapped in small cases the size
of a card deck allows you to take multiple images in rapid progress. Artists can pick and choose
pictures to keep and those that get rid of them in the blink of an eye. Experts have played a major
role in the development of cameras from the earliest times - from the complex configurations
used to create films to the best digitization capabilities of conventional cameras.
Activity 3:
Analogies can be used to illuminate an unconventional objective idea through a more natural
source idea (or a simple idea, anchor, base and vehicle) by recognizing similarities in structure
and connections. For configuration, source analogies are used to move target views. To a large
extent, the analogies speak to an intellectual circle where data begins with the transfer of one
idea to the next. Although our lab has experience in using analogies to move, we became very
interested in using them to illuminate (i.e. explain ideas through sharp images) and found that
pieces could finally be gained from educating our ideas in the past.
Both images are displayed and compared as symbolic meters. These terms are more commonly
used in expressions of human experience than in the use of formal maps between logical ideas.
In the classroom, however, analogies are often called expository metaphors. For the most part,
allegories are said to be something else, while appearance is reflected in the use of "how" or
"how", assuming water is power moves through a channel that is power, while "water-like power
moves through its course" by comparison.
A number of remarkable figures in science and design confirm the estimation of analog intuition
in the dialogue of new ideas. They conceptualize, deliver and even develop their ideas and
expressions through analogies. Analogs can convey and clarify ideas, as well as identify
supporting differences between places and further logical manifestations by helping to formulate
theories. In revealing the new idea of A, and in planning it with a relatively simple idea of B, we
can suggest that may be offering more parts of B beyond what we know for sure.
Use of analogies in science classroom:
Some scientists have considered using analogies in the dining room. Analysts examined agents'
understanding of ideas expressed using analogies, found a lack of care in selecting analogies to
express physical views, and suggested that there would be an improvement in acceptance of
analogies each with smaller numbered holes, help to clarify inaccessible ideas. Mercy also

recommends intelligent collection conversations, as agents often add innovative models and can
gauge whether the introduced analogies feel good to them. They focused on how educators
reinforce analogies in what is available from their group and found that, in an example of 7,
secondary teachers used modules rather than analogies and did not some can part with them.
Images were not used, once and for all, to their full potential.
Limitations of analogies:
Recognizing that analogies differ once the applied identities have been extracted, it has been
noted that specific analogies may be more important in illuminating specific components. of
another opinion. For example, they found that to understand electric circuits, agents using the
appearance of a “moving group” understood the opinion of opponents better, while those who
used a “running water” relationship better understand the idea of batteries. . As a result, self-
contained analogies, or mental models of how things work, can both illuminate and misrepresent.
If cognition happens to be a collection of analogies, the organization of existing packages will
determine how they secure new pockets of data within the larger models of the agents' minds. A
study found that agents did not look well at models that experts considered largely equivalent to
a particular surprise. Understudies can make unsolicited requests and make their own suspicions,
coming out of the same. It has been found previously that high school science students have
often shifted writings from simple into real sense, and that analog models can be dangerous when

plants (Rotmans, 2012). The radiations from sun helps in providing heat to the plants and the
heat inside green house does not escape and is required for the growth of the plants. With the
effective use of greenhouse gases the temperature of earth is constantly increasing and has

contributed in several drastic effects. The major factors which are increasing the greenhouse
gases and its effect are pollution from factories, deforestation and many more. The primary
function of greenhouse gases is to maintain and control the sun radiations and this action is
increasing the surface temperature of earth which is leading to global warming.
Impact of greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect can have harmful effects on the environment as well as humans.
This is because various greenhouse gases along with the heat of the sun get trapped in the
atmosphere. This leads to making the planet and the oceans warm. The various greenhouse gases
include nitro us oxide, methane and carbon dioxide. Besides this chlorofluorocarbons can also
have a devastating impact on the environment. Besides this, there is a change in the overall
climate, which means that there is a change in the Earth's climate from what it used to be. As a
result, there are various consequences of the same.
Challenges posed by Greenhouse effect
As explained, greenhouse effect is a process that occurs naturally wherein the surface of
the earth becomes warm. This is because when the energy from the sun reaches the earth's
atmosphere, some of it gets reflected back. Although the process takes place naturally, there are
still some challenges that are posed by it. Climate change is one of the biggest problems that is
caused as a result of greenhouse effect. There is a rise in temperatures, wildfires and drought
occurs and there is a rise in the sea level. The greenhouse gases trap the heat from the sun and
keep the climate of Earth habitable. But the gases are gradually losing their balance and
threatening the climate. Various countries are aware of these problems and they are adopting
various measures to address the same so that the overall impact can be reduced. Other challenge
that is posed by the green house gases include effects on the environment as well as the health of
humans.

Actions to address the Greenhouse effect
There are various measures or actions that can be taken in order to address the issues that
are raised by the greenhouse effect. The overall energy efficiency should be enhanced so that the
emission of various harmful greenhouse gases is reduced. Use of automobiles that are not fuel
efficient should be reduced. And instead bicycles or public transport can be used. By improving
the processing of manure, the methane emissions can be reduced to a significant level. Another
measure is implementing sustainable heating in green house horticulture. Besides this, reusing,
recycling and reducing the waste should be encouraged. Products that are energy-efficient should

be sold in the market along with a large number of trees being planted across various
geographical regions. Also, in order to prevent or reduce the negative impacts of the green house
effect, deforestation should be eliminated. Instead of plastic, paper products should be used a nd
the carbon footprint should be calculated from time to time.
Causes of Greenhouse effect
The continuous use of greenhouse in the growth of plants is effecting the environment
and here are few major causes of greenhouse effect-
Fossil Fuels burning- Fossil fuel play important role in the lives of human as it is
frequently used in transportation and electricity production. Due to increase in the growth
rate the usage of fossil fuels has increased as it releases carbon dioxide which is
increasing greenhouse gases in the environment.
Deforestation- Plants are the only living things which take in carbon dioxide and give
out oxygen. But due to high needs of humans the trees are cut which is contributing in the
greenhouse effect and increasing the temperature of earth.
Industrial Waste- Due to increase in the population the needs and wants of people are
increasing and more number of industries and factories are been established which are
producing harmful gases. These harmful gases are effecting the atmosphere and
environment in the negative way (Swann and et.al., 2010).
Effect of Greenhouse effect
Here are main effects which are increasing the greenhouse gases-
Global warming- It is a phenomenon which is effecting the temperature of earth and also
effecting the environment. The main reason behind global warming is due to increase in
use of greenhouse gases that is use of carbon dioxide, methane, pollution from vehicles
and other practices of humans.
Ozone layer depletion- The primary function of ozone layer is to protect the earth's
atmosphere from harmful UV rays of sun. But due to continuous increase in use of
greenhouse the depletion of ozone layer is taking place. This will impact the environment
and also lead skin cancer and other problems to humans. The major reason behind this is
accumulation of these gases that included carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbon and many
other harmful gases (Koll and Cronin, 2018).
