The essay will cover about the developments in science and technology as well as various
aspects of science and technology. It will also cover an introduction to world of science and
technology, advantages and disadvantages as well as impact of science and technology on
society.

In the world of science and technology almost everything seems easy and comfortable.
Man has experiencing change in their life's due to advancement in technology. Today almost
every business, every sector and every human is dependent on science and technology. Science
and technology has is playing an important role in everyone's life. In the world of science and
technology every person enjoy his every second of life. A person can entertain themselves by
computers, TV etc(Morita-Lou, 2019.).
Science and technology has made every activities of life much easier than before. The
travelling has become very fast. Now a days if a person wants to travel a large distance than the
person does not have to spend much time on travelling. With the advent of electronic trains,
aeroplanes etc., the travelling has become much easier.
Science can be defined as a combination of knowledge about nature and universe. While
technology is a collection of techniques, process and methods which is used for the production of
goods as well as services in order to accomplish some objectives(Science and Technology,
2019.). Or in other words science is a process which involves innovation and experimentation for
getting knowledge and to improve skills while technology is practical application of science
which make the humans life easy(Technology, 2019).
Science and Technology has a long history in United Kingdom the field has given rise to
many important figures and developments(Lidskog and Sundqvist, 2015.). Some of the major
theorists form United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are Isaac Newton, Charles
Darwin, Frances Crick and Alexander Fleming. Science and technology has helped almost all
sector and all areas of world. It has made the world more developed. If we talk of development
whether it is a country development or human development these developments is directly linked
to development of science and technology. The three words science, technology and
development are interlinked with each other.

Science and technology has played an important role in enhancing economy and making
the life of people more easier and comfortable. Science and technology has made the life of
people easy and fast. The science and technology has helped humans to enter in the era of
motorized vehicle by eliminating bullock carts. Some examples which can be looked in order to
see the importance of science and technology are agriculture, economy, sports, games, jobs etc.,
these are some major fields in which contribution of science and technology can be clearly seen.
Technology is used and is present in activities of daily life(Naito and et.al., 2018). We can see
science and technology in almost every things of our daily life whether it is washing machines,
refrigerators, flooring materials, tumble dryers, games, toys etc. Almost all humans group from
children's to adults everyone is surrounded by a technology.
Technology helps in saving time and money. As science has helped us in gaining the
knowledge of different aspects such as why baked and steamed food is better than fried foods in
the same way technology has helped us with innovating or producing microwave and steam
cookers which helps in making steam foods.
One of the major advancement in science and technology is introduction of internet.
Internet has helped to get immense knowledge about different subjects, things and areas and it
also help people to stay connected to each other. With the advancement in science and
technology sleeping, cooking, washing clothes has become a much easier task.
Science and technology has contributed in almost every field. It has made significant
contribution in health sector(McClellan, Dorn, 2015). With the advancement of technology new
way of treatment has been evolved which helps in treatment of various diseases. The new
technologies such as X-rays, Scan machines and operation devices has helped in treatment of
patients.
Technology is improving day by day with the introduction of various mobile application
a person can fix an appointment with doctor or can take an advice from the experts in order to
maintain their health and life.
Now a days world has become dependent on technology. As a result in use of advance
technology and development in technology humans are making wrong use of technologies. The
advancement in technology is creating both positive as well as negative impact on the life's of
people. It is affecting the people's life directly or indirectly. On one side if world of science and
technology is beneficial to society than on the other side it is creating a huge negative impact on

society. In the world of science and technology life of humans has become easy, travelling is
become easy and fast, communication has become easier as well as the standard of living of a
person has also been increased due to technology. Everything has positive as well as negative
side similarly the science and technology has also creating a negative impact on society. Man is
making using of technology and is using it for destructive purpose, new technologies such as
mobile, I -pods etc., is creating a negative impact on children behaviour, the vibrations frim the
mobile phone is resulting in increase in heart as well as brain diseases. Also advancement in
technology is the main cause behind decrease in natural beauty.
CONCLUSION
The essay has however helped to understand the various aspects of science and
technology. A presence of science and technology can be seen in almost all the activities of life.
However as every things has two sides similarly science and technology also has two sides. On
one side if science and technology together helped to improve life of humans while on other side
it is creating a negative impact on life of humans.
