The management of the organisation focuses on different aspects and key areas in order to
ensure the effectiveness of the organisation within the industry. As with the changing
industry requirement, it is required that the management ensures that the activities conducted
within the organisation are as per the industry standards and requirements, and meet the
needs and demands of the customers, The analysis is focused on analysing the effectiveness
of the supply chain management within the organisation and the need to focus on the
sustainability, ethical and social issues in managing the corporate function.

The operational or supply chain of an organisation is required to be focused as it plays an
important role in ensuring the success of the organisation within the industry. The supply
chain of the organisation ensures that the products are being provided effectively when and
where required or at the place of consumption. The operation or the supply chain
management focuses on every process that starts from the procurement of the raw material,
production of the products, storage of raw materials or the finished products, and throughout
the process includes the final transfer of the products to the final customer (Christopher,
2016).
The organisations are required to focus on the sustainability practices within the supply chain
management so that the organisational performance can be ensured along with ensuring the
effectiveness of the supply chain. There are certain ethical issues that the management face
within the supply chain management including the product quality, employee development or
