Introduction
Social Entrepreneurship strikes a right balance in building a business to ascertain
social objectives thereby returning the benefit to the society at large. The social parameters
like health, education and environment face issues which attract aspiring entrepreneurs to
address them by building innovative goods and services (Pache, and Chowdhury 2012). A
social entrepreneurship in large organization are crucial to sustain, expand and survive in a
cut-throat competitive world.
Role of Social Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization to fulfil its
corporate social responsibility and resolve the social obstacles inflicting the human resources.
This aids in capacity building, increasing productivity, establishing goodwill with the
stakeholders and target audience. It enhances working relationship with the employees which
has a multiplier effect on their performance (Augusto Felício, Rodrigues and Caldeirinha
2012). A large organization needs to build a positive brand identity and win the trust and
confidence of the public at large which can be achieved more prominently if an organization
generate adequate returns to the society.
Real Examples of Implementation
However, implementing entrepreneurship within a large organization requires capable
expertise who can meet the demand of the social objectives. It can be fulfilled by recruiting
socially active experts who can well analyse the social problems plaguing the society in rural
and urban areas and provide desirable and rational solutions to the problems. Biolite, a
vibrant social entrepreneurship which aims to save scarce energy resources of the world.

due to global warming and increasing temperatures. MNCs should contribute towards
increasing environmental hazards arising due to massive industrialization thus deteriorating
the quality of life led by the society as a whole. Soma Water, is another innovative solution
for water filtration to tackle the scarcity of potable water. Popularising the use of eco-friendly
products to resolve the scarcity of potable water can help the business to imprint a positive
social impact on the society (Sedge 2018).
Desired Structures
In order to reduce the impact of global warming, relevant structures need to be
adopted within the organization to encourage the use of renewable resources. A proactive role
of employees and common consciousness regarding an issue must be build to achieve a
collaborative effort for redressal. The adequate personnel can be hired to promote the use of
innovative products not only among employees but also among the public at large (Park,
Kim, and Krishna 2014). Such innovative products can be promoted through social media
and digital marketing coupled with availability of these products in critical areas with greater
need of these products.
Conclusion
Ever increasing pressure on limited resources, there is dire need of judicious and
optimum utilization of the resources. Social entrepreneurship aids in nation building since
welfare of the society is an important aspect of the organization. Integrating social motive in
organization can improve the lives of human which brings prosperity in the economy of a
country.
