INTRODUCTION
Supply Chain Management refers to the process of transferring of goods from one
department to other for the preparation of final goods. There are many departments involved in
preparation and production of goods for providing better services to consumers. These days,
supply chain rules are changing because of use of different technologies. Supply chain gets easy
with the help of Information Technology solution. Business operations are done apart from
geographical region. In this report, there is evaluation of three articles to know impact of IT
techniques on supply chain management.

In this article, there is discussion about SCOR model through which it is easy to reduce
possibilities of waste, setting standards and targets and assist in improving quality of product and
services. In this model, there are different stages which keeps check of quality of services
provided to consumers. This assist in understanding supply chain operations properly through
which it can be done in better and effective manner. Supply chain operations has to be done in
better and effective manner through which they have to perform rotation of operations activities
in specified manner. As per this article, supply change management is converted into three main
streams such as operational, design, strategic. But there models does not consider strategic
planing of operations because when operations and design are considered, then it is analysed that
planning will be proper.

reference (SCOR) model assist in ease complexity of supply chain activities of organisation and
makes smooth running of business activities. With the help of this model, there is simplification

through which planning related to resources and raw material can be done.
