lifestyle and compelled me in living my life in a healthy manner. People have become
much conscious about my health and eating habits, which has encouraged to me to adapt
and make positive changes in my life.
2. The chosen society “Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica”, have people who have longer lives,
everybody in the peninsula lives their life fruitfully by earning their own bread. The
people interact with each other in an amiable manner, the nature and resources present
also acts a stimulating factor in increasing their life expectancy. This factor totally is
related to the societal principle “social role” and align to my lifestyle, as the people in
spite of enough resources eat less and control their diet, which acts as a factor in their
longevity.
3. The environmental factor that affect the longevity of Nicoya peninsula people is the
water quality, which have the richness of limestone, constituting with magnesium and
calcium. They have rich nutritious foods, with sunny area providing the people with
ample amount of Vitamin D. The factor which affects the environment by the activities of
the residing people are their sense of community, less stress, jobs like farming , selling
fruits by walking many miles, have contributed to increase the fruitfulness of the weather.

4. The factors that influence the longevity my life is the controlled diet and disciplined
lifestyle. The principles of society that affect my life are societal norms and social role,
and the factors that have not discussed is social institutions, beliefs, and values.
