The travel and tourism is considered to be one of the major factor to undertake the changes at a
major scale. The tourism, as a service industry holds a lot of tangible and intangible parts, where
the tangible parts are classified into transport systems and hospitality services.

Issue 1:
Technological advancements: This is considered to be a major issue which has changed the
dimensions to travel in different sector at a higher scale. There are aspects of organization to
improve service quality. The example is hospitality industry and aviation industry which has
been able to provide a better facility for the people with advanced booking and has improved a
higher level of technological advancements. The technological advantages are huge with online
platform that has contributed immensely. The social media and search engines have been able to
provide with a facility to explore the best destinations and then plan for the vacations which
could be done by tourists and connections that are set with related companies. The major role of
technology is to allow providing a virtual tour to the tourists where the example of virtual tour is
significant and has helped in improving the travel and tourism sector potential (Tussyadiah,
Wang, and Jia, 2017). The technological advancements are effective to bring a major change in
this sector. With the increase approved technology, there are advertisements which are seen to be
appealing when they are posted on internet. They have been showing different provisions that
tend to lower about worrying of tourism. The niche tourism is oriented with risks taking

Issue 2:
Increase of Environmental Awareness: This a major issue which has brought a major change
in travel and tourism sector. There are high level of significance for preventing the nation from
any harm. Hence, for this, the green tourism has been able to foster and is developed to promote
safety and environment protection. The clarity is about environmental awareness which is
disseminated among tourists with companies working on a wide spectrum of travel and tourism.
The parties hold the responsibility to mainly contribute towards the safety and the protection
from other environmental resources (Khan & Amelie, 2015). The wastage should be property
dumped, considering the amount of pollution which is seen to be increasing with a higher level
of travel and tourism. It is clear that the efforts need to be made with the sector for saving the
unique habitats and not only any physical damage. This will only help in improving the increased
knowledge for awareness in environment. Also, the attractive environment generally appeals the
tourist which includes the coastal resorts, cultural interests historic sites and the mountainous
ranges. They are holding increased investment with conservation of features that would
encourage buildings, with more income from wildlife. With change in climate, there is a need to
focus impact of increased spending to promote a better industry continue and prevent the
environmental degradation. There have been changes in land cover and land use, energy use,

spend on their travel. The social security and terrorism has put a major impact on the growth and
development. With the increased environmental changes, the tourism is gaining a better
momentum, where people are fatly looking for attractive of places before they tend to disappear.
The example is 9/11 incident which has a major impact at the memory lane of people and how it
affected the safety of the international tourists (Back, Bugnar & Mester, 2015). There are
different countries who have a higher level of frisking procedures which has made security very
strict. The increased issue of terrorism in the tourism industry with terrorists acts generated by
the local groups have also scared the people with negative image for specific destinations. There
are terrorism problems with premediated violence against civilians, committed by local groups.
The terrorism is considered to be a form of politically motivated violence wherein the advertising
is considered to be a major role (Gurtner, 2016). The terrorism is considered to be a motivated
violence with violent form of political communication which originates mainly due to the
television and internet.
