Configuration of Virtual network for enabling communication
The network 192.168.44.0 is used depending on the student number. The configuration settings
used for the virtual machines are given below:
SCVMM
 Windows Server 2016 IP – 192.168.44.1/24 RAM – 4 GB Processor – 2 Cores HDD – 100 GB LAN Segmentation - SCVMM
Host 1
 Windows Server 2016 IP – 192.168.44.10/24 RAM – 4 GB Processor – 2 Cores HDD – 100 GB LAN Segmentation - SCVMM
Host 2
 Windows Server 2016 IP – 192.168.44.20/24 RAM – 4 GB

Connection of the Virtual Network
For the addition of virtual network a lan segment is added and named as SCVMM for all the
VMs for enabling the machines communicate in the LAN.

Addition of resources
A Windows 7 image file is added for the creation of virtual machine in the host SCVMM library.
The iso file helps in creation of future VM and a security file is created in the Host2 with the
help of SCVMM agent.

A VM is created and named as test1 in host1
