Dear Sir,
As a Marketing Trainee, I am writing this application in response to the vacancy of
SDG Consultant in your esteemed organization. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business
Administration and I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree course in Business
Administration with a specialization in Marketing and I believe that I can contribute my
knowledge and expertise as an SDG Consultant.
Host Hotels & Resorts has been a widely known organization for its responsible
economic investments and impressive corporate social responsibility programs. It has
expanded its employee volunteering programs to an extensive impact on the society in terms
of enhancing economic prosperity and empowerment among underprivileged people.
Moreover, the organization has a legacy of managing diversity and nurturing human rights
through their policies. Therefore, it would an honour for me to work within the organization
and learn from the rich heritage of the company.

Sustainability Programmes are an important aspect of tourism and hospitality industry
in the recent times. The hospitality industry all across the globe has recognised the potential
benefits of sustainability and adopting various methods to promote it. This is a unique
approach adopted by the corporate entities through which they can ensure both value creation
and revenue generation. Therefore, there is ample research scope to reinvent novel strategies
of sustainability in the organization. With this view, it can be claimed that organizations can
always use fresh ideas and perspective to redesign their sustainability strategy.
I find myself as a perfect fit for the position considering my educational background
and personal inclination towards sustainability programmes.As a student of Marketing, I find
that the revision and careful implementation of marketing strategy of the company with
sustainability in its central focus can create a better organizational image. The sustainable
practices can be instrumental as it can engage the stakeholders with the organization’s CSR
programmes and create positive feedbacks from both the community as well as the members.
I would like to add that I have gathered some first-hand experience of community
development work by volunteering in charitable programs during my college. Therefore, I am
offering my experience, educational knowledge and passion towards sustainability focus of
the company with the hope to emulate the brilliant organizational value Host Hotels &
Resorts have created.
