INTRODUCTION
Music education can be defined as the field of the practice in which the educators are much
trained for their careers as the secondary music teachers. It is the field which is highly associated
with the teaching as well as the learning of the music. There are many benefits of the music
education as music has the ability of directly learning the words, speaking the words correctly as
well as helps the children in being interactive in the learning process. This report will discuss the
overall lesson plan of the teaching the music top the students.
MAIN BODY
How to know that the learners have learned the things in better way:
It can be known that whether the students are effectively learning or not by taking the tests of the
students. The test for the topics which has been taken in the class will help the teacher to know
from its results. If the results are positive this means that the students have learned the topics or
the concept of the music effectively and if not this shows that the students has not learned this
topic (Yulianto, Ahmadi and Asteria, 2018). This method is best for evaluation of the things
learned by the students in the better way or not. Using the reflective practice can also be another
method for learning process of the students as by gathering the feedbacks from the students.

PART 3: Reflection
Being an educator, I was responsible to provide the effective education the students
where I had an overall plan to provide the effective music sessions to the students so that they
can be able to learn in definite manner. This education has been provided by the tutor to deliver
the knowledge and understanding of musical concepts and can improve and increase their
abilities and skill in definite way. I want to educate the student about the music skill and
learning’s through the pop culture and social media things. Yes, the lesson plan has been written
in the detailed manner where I was able to educate and communicate with the students in
effective manner and can provide the knowledge and learning effectively (Waddell and
Williamon, 2019). The lesson planning is the important thing which I considered and
implemented different method of data collection and information which guide me to adopt the
better and sufficient detail and also easy to follow. However, the learning intension and success
criteria of providing the music knowledge to the 7/8 grades of students in relevant and
appropriate where they are also able to adopt the knowledge and education in definite manner
and can learn the concepts and understanding of the music effectively.
The lesson planning was very clear and understandable and allows the students to gather
the knowledge and learning education in regard to music skill and abilities. It is important for me
to engage with the students while giving the education to them and requires gaining the attention
so that they can be able to play the music in recognisable manner and can play the music with the
instruments in appropriate manner. For engaging the students to each other, I announced them to

play and sign a song with the entire class which will enable them to get engaged with each other
and can enjoy the music respectively (Peng, 2021). Thus, according to me, the lesson planning
and session was appropriate for the student’s from where they are also able to learn and get
engage with the music practise in effective manner. I also observed that the engagement bring
the students to communicate with each other effectively which reflects the music playing activity
in better manner and allow them to learn the concepts of the music in appropriate way. At the
initial or starting stage of teaching the lesson, I was quite nervous and tensed that if I do not able
to educate the students effectively but with the time I met the students and get engaged with
them allow me to stay confident and able to provide the lesson in effective manner (Mericka,
2018). Also, when I was discussing the lesson plan with my peer I observed that the students
were enjoying and developing their interest in learning the music in the short time of interval
where it allows me to motivate them and educate them in appropriate manner. Thus, the overall
lesson planning has been done appropriately and successful where students can be able to learn
and understand the music concepts.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that it is very important to design the lesson plan as
this will help the teachers as well as the students both. The teachers will be helpful by this as
they will be able to take the classes on the proper schedules and the students are benefited by this
as the lesson plan helps them in taking the classes in proper way. This report has discussed the
overall lesson plan for teaching the music concepts to the students.
