1. EXPLAIN WHAT ARE THE AVIATION SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (ON AIRSIDE
AND LANDSIDE)
Providing security to the passenger is very much important in the aviation industry.
Small mistakes can take hundred lives. The requirements of aviation security on airside
have been described below:
 Checking the baggage thoroughly is most required in airside because it will
protect the passengers and airplane safe from any blasting or unwanted
incidents.
 Various reports highlighted that drugs, gold, black money and many illegal things
have been passing through the airport through different techniques. To stop such
incidents X-ray scanner is required which will scan the entire body properly.
 Proper security forces are required to avoid or to protect the uncertain
accidents.
 Smoking must need to be prohibited on the airside, which can cause the burn of
the airplane.
 All the foods provided within the flight must need to be checked and tasted to
ensure the health regulation.
 All the necessary equipment within the flight must need to be examined properly
before planes take off (Gormley and Irminger, 2015).
 Flight must be checked and all the parts need to examine thoroughly to avoid the
on air accidents or crash.
Landside requirements of the security in aviation industry are:

 Military forces need to recruit on the landside to avoid the accidents.
 In order to reduce the crowd airport authority must need to increase their
landside area.
 Complain booth can be effective for the airport authority so that passengers and
the other people can launch complain if anything unwanted happens.
 The processes are developed for facilitating movement of passengers through
enforcing appropriateness in risk assessment, which are deemed for posing low
security risk for permitting more effectiveness in resource utilization.
 Baggage handling systems as well as make up areas need to be protected and
access should be restricted to only authorized staff for prevention of pilferage,
introducing unauthorized items in baggage and interference with baggage terms.
Such areas must form portion of security-restricted area.
 Passengers who provoke suspicion through their behavior and after being
questioned need to be subjected, along with their baggage for conduction of
more detailed inspection.
2. What is breach of aviation security requirements and give three examples?
Breach refers to the term that defines the breaking of the security to access the data. In
aviation sector various these types of security breaches occur. Such as walking on the
runway, climbing the outside protection an entering into the terminal, hacking the
server, carrying guns and drugs and many more.
In April 2006 in phoenix sky harbor international, the pilot contacted with the air traffic
in urgent basis because a man entered into the runway nearly collided with the airplane.
Letter the man has been arrested (Martin, 2018).
In 2007 at Miami international, a man entered into the terminal and taking random
pictures. Latter he has been arrested.
In 2014 a 15 year old boy hided in the wheel and the flight went to California to Hawaii.
Latter he told that he break the security fence and entered.
