assists in understanding other people perception towards oneself. High self-awareness is one of
the predictor of successful life and a central trait of prosperous individual. It is because a self-
aware individual respond to opportunity at the right time (Richards, 2010).
It plays a significant role in individual capability to respond to his/her present
circumstances. Self-awareness develops number of worthy qualitative factors within an
individual that assist him/her to respond to the present condition in a right and effective manner.
It generates a belief in respect of attaining the talent to meet the occurrence. It advances self-
assessment that assists in recognizing individual’s potential strength and confines and helps in
tapping hidden talents. It helps in identifying individual stressors that hinder personal growth and
development. It assists in acknowledging the skills that need to be developed. It acts as a key for
self-control in respect of habits and practices that are destructive for an individual personality or
for future. It generates positive and healthy boundaries within an individual that helps in
determining his/her limits. Moreover, it constant grows the inner understanding of oneself thus
helps in making better and quality personal choices (Review, Goleman, Kaplan, David, &
Eurich, 2018).
Following the above paragraph, Self-awareness builds positivity thus individual consider
mistakes and failure as a tool for enhancing knowledge, learning and growth. It heavily
contributes to the individual by making him/her honest about one’s own personality leaving no
space for fake persona. Attaining key knowledge about oneself makes it easier to take steps in
respect of any situation or opportunity prevailing in the environment. It makes the individual
self-focused about his/her goal and aim. Lastly, it develops kindness that is very essential in

respect of dealing with the situation. Hence, Self-awareness is s positive attribute that an
individual must have as it helps in evaluating self-esteem and hidden skills (Happiness, 2019).
Thus, all these factors develop self-knowledge and build self-confidence among an
individual that guides him/her towards the situation. These factors prepare the individual to be
proactive and direct him/her to respond in the most effective and correct manner that generates
positive outcomes. This in turn develops a solid belief and helps the individual in acting
consciously in respect of unknown present state.
