1. Reflecting own performance in the group presentation and in the module.
What I have learnt?
I have studies human resource management. Being a student I have learnt a lot of things
from this module. With the help of human resource module I have understand numerous theories
about the human psychology. It has helped in having a better evaluation of the conflicts of
human resources and numerous ways to resolve them as well. Further, learning through this
module has also helped me in development of leadership quality. Further, it has also helped me
in learning the most effective communication skills and decision making skills as well.
In addition, by playing the role in the group presentation, I have analysed the
fundamentals of human resource management. It has helped me in evaluating and analysing
numerous ways with the help of which a each human resource of the company can be managed
in an effective way so as to provide the maximum return from these resources. In this regard, I
have also learnt various qualities that a human resource manager needs to have.
Further, while performing various tasks in the group, I have learnt the importance of team
work. It has also helped me in learning the way of providing equality in the team work and
understanding the way of performing activities in the group without harming the emotions o
beliefs of any another group member.
It has also helped me in enhancing my own efficiency of performing various activities
and analysing the human behaviour. In addition, through the study of human resource
management, I have also understand the effective way of time management along with the way
of helping another people in managing their time and working with their full efficiency. Through
the study of human resource management module, I have also understand the best way of filling
or bridging the gap between organisational goals and personal goals of individuals so that they
could help the company in reaching its set business objectives.
What new information that have been presented
Study of the human resource management module has helped me in providing a range of
new information (Noe and et.al., 2017). It has helped me in developing the information about
the various ethical values that plays an important role in enhancing the value and morality of an
individual. The study has provided me information about a range of techniques that can be used
by a leader for the purpose of enhancing and improving the leadership skills.

The group performance has also provided me numerous essential information about
techniques and procedures through which a range of humans can be motivated. These
information can help me improving the skills of being a human resource managers of the
company. Creation of payroll system was also taught to us in the human resource management.
Further, the study of human resource management has helped me in learning various
information about the various models and techniques through which the decision making power
can be improved through which they can improve the decision making power of managers. I
have understand the best way of implementing various strategies and plans through which each
policies developed for the betterment of company. In this regard, it has helped me in developing
effective management skills.
All the information that I got while learning the human resource management can be used
by me in future various ways. knowledge about effective communication skills, can be used by
me in while transforming any information at large level. It can help me in enhancing the
effectiveness of the information over the listeners.
Further, knowledge of payroll; system can be used at the time of preparing salary slips
and payrolls of various employees if I starts working as a human resource manager of any
organisation (Berman and et.al., 2019). In addition, learning of use of excel can be used in the
improving the management and controlling skills while working as a professional in an
organisation.
What was interesting
While learning the skills and qualities of human resource management, the part at which
we learnt about the human psychology, was the most important part of the module. It make me to
analyse various reasons behind change in the behaviour of the individuals (Bratton and Gold,
2017). The human psychology has helped in developing the effectiveness of understanding
actual behaviour of an individual. It also leads in emotional development of myself.
Moreover, the part of module and group representation in which we were tough about the
creation of payroll of employees were also an important part. During this lesson, there was a lot
of interesting lessons that I learnt. Effective use of Excel, combining numerous data,
development of payroll receipts. Etc. were the most interesting part of the lesson.
In addition, lessons for the improvement of communication skills, can also be taken in the

Elaborating Areas that are needed to be developed further
From the analysis of the above reflection, I evaluated that there are various areas that are
needed to be improved for becoming an effective human resource manager and improving the
professionalism as well. Improvement in the won personality is the major area to be focused
(Webb, 2017). I analysed that there are a range of ineffectiveness in my own personality that can
become a barrier in the development of effective professional skills in context to the human
resource management. It is one of the most essential area of the human resource manager. As,
only those human resource managers can succeed in human resource management field that have
an attractive and effective personality.
Furthermore, being a human resource manager, I also need to improve my
communication skills. As being a human resource manager, I would have to make a continuous
connection with the employees of an organisation. In addition, communication of each relevant
information to the employees of a company is an important function of the HR manager. All
these function could be performed by me in an effective way only if I improve my
communication skills.
Further, I would also need to improve my ability to analysis things. Improvement in this
area is one of the most important task of each manager. It helps them in taking the most effective
decisions for the company. A human resource manager needs to take decisions regarding the
effective management of the human resources i.e. employees of the company. It can be analysed
as the most important activity of the business for the purpose of gaining success. In this regard,
working as a professional of the management of human resource, I need to develop ability of
analysing the things in an effective way.
Moreover, as per my evaluation, I also need to improve my decision making skills.
Decision making is also one of the major part of management team, I will need to take several
decisions for the company (Fung and et.al., 2015). Improvement in the decision making power
will help me in enhancing the efficiency of my managerial functioning. Therefore, I think, it is
also the area that is needed to be Improved by me.

In addition, I think, I will need also need to enhance and improve leadership skills. HR
managers also plays a vital role of leading the overall employees of the firm. Providing
appropriate motivation, development of appropriate working environment, development of
appropriate working channel so that performance of the overall business organisation could be
effectively managed, etc. are one of the key functions of human resource managers. All these
functions can be done effectively with the help of building and implementing effectively over the
members of company. In this order, being a human resource manager, I also need to improve the
area of leadership skills.
