INTRODUCTION
Reflection is termed out as process that leads to explore, examine and interactions that assist
to gain insights about information (Quinn, 2019). The present report is based on to reflect on
performance in group presentation that indicates that what have learnt, went well and aspects
requiring improvements. Also, areas will be identified that needs to improvement and action plan
will be constructed to develop personally and professionally in future.
TASK 1
Reflective statement on group presentation.
Hence, it will be conducted in following grounds as are-:
What have you learnt?
On the basis of group presentation, I have developed and identified that what kind of skill I
am good and what I am lacking. In this, group presentation I have identified that working towards
the academic and professional achievement is one of the core that aids to accomplish the desire
future success. This aids me to know about what kind of academic goals I need to developed so that
I can improved my future learning. I must say that by passing the grades one cannot achieve
success. The process of learning is very crucial to accomplish the desired academic goals. Thus, I
have identified that learning of person must be always empty so that by enhancing the
understanding the each things can be improved in effectively. I must say that individuals needs to
work towards to accomplish the academic goals so that so that professional competencies of an
individual can be enhanced and developed. My current academic goals is to bring improvement in
grades, to make schedules for studies and make sure to complete daily task effectively (Deb, Dey
and Balas, 2019). Here, I have identified that the one of the things what I was lacking was Time
management. This was one of the barricade to accomplish my academic and future goals.
What new information has been presented?
I have identified to get the proper outcomes and successful results this is crucial to set the
studies on the top priorities. For me new was to establish SMART goals with help of SMART
objectives (Beagon, Niall and Ní Fhloinn, 2019). Thus, by implementing the smart goals with use of
tools such as specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely completed. With help of this, I
found out that goals can be divided up effectively and timeline can be developed so that long term
goals can be accomplished. By this, I have developed each objective and work towards it to
accomplish it. Thus, new information that has been added in this was to enhance co-curricular
activities so that can lead to improve professional skills.

In the whole presentation, I have identified that the team work was so essential to carry out
the things in effective and efficient mode. To make the group presentation, this is crucial to have
better interaction and communication skill so that entire process can be undertaken in better
approach (Chen, Yang and Yang, 2020). I have found one things very interesting that each member
to group present work with one another and take step towards to accomplish desired goals. I have
found out that SMART goals is one of the effective tool that carried out business activities in
clarified aspect, provide direction and motivate the group member to take necessary actions to move
forward. This is the tool that leads to set the SMART goals and also assist to accomplish the goal in
personal life as well. For me this tool was so effective this carries out the whole process in specific
and measurable manner. Therefore, this was one of the effective way to managing the whole
progress while working in the project in collaborative aspect. I have identified this also assist me to
the process of writing your goals helps you clarify what you desire to do, understand the value of
pursuing them and commit yourself to making them happen. This needs to be developed at the time
of setting up the objective towards to accomplish something, this leads to evaluate and monitor the
things. Therefore, objective is a statement that needed to be settled in terms to describes what an
individual, team or organization is hoping to achieve desired goals.
How might you use the new information?
I must say that with help of Keeping up the things SMART can assist to people focus on
what's important and what needs to be done. Therefore, this can be stated that SMART goals is an
acronym that stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound ( Beard,
Schweiger and Surendran, 2019). In addition to this, well-respected approach in relation to the goal
setting and many of the people would recommend it for personal as well as professional goals. This
is defined as an approach that brings the focus, clarity and motivation that people can often neglect
when goal setting. This will be used in future to accomplish the desired goals in effective by setting
up the all academic and professional goals. This can lead to save the poor performance and this
helps to accomplish the desired objectives. However, SMART goals setting aids to give the clear
picture to overall academic and professional plan.
What did you not fully understand or confused and what did you do about it?
The things that I did not fully understand is to setting up the team goal with use of SMART
framework. As this was lengthy process and this has also affected my overall performance in
negative manner. This was the area where I got confused a lot. To develop whole team goals to
accomplish desired objective was not an easy task. This requires lot of time and patients to develop
whole framework effectively. In order to cope up with, I worked as to divided up the whole
activities in small group so that each objective to the team can be justified and chances of getting

Areas that needs to develop further improvements.
From the above group activity of developing a presentation I have analyzed that there are
several areas and that what I was lacking. Due to it my performance was highly impacted. Thus, I
found that the areas as academic and professional, I was lacking the most. So, I have realized that
there academic areas which I need to develop are to develop and create academic. In order to
develop ourselves, this is crucial to take efforts towards to develop critical thinking skills. This is
because during group work I was not able to think critically. Due to it I was not able to decide that
what content on presentation is relevant and not. Also, I was not able to make quick decision that
whether it will be right or wrong. By improving it I will be able to critically understand and analyze
situation (Brookes, 2019). It will enhance my skills in efficient way. In order to present each things
nicely, this is crucial to write better content to presentation this will aid me to make entire activities
in more attractive manner.
Besides that, I found that I lack in area of digital skills. This means that I was not having
proper knowledge of how to use various functions available in power point, and what they do.
Moreover, I have analyzed that I need to improve my digital skills. It will help me in gaining
technical knowledge about various tools and techniques. This will increase my area of learning. I
will be aware about what software are used in which job role. I have realized that I need to be more
creative by adding images, smart tool so that can lead to make my presentation more attractive and
this will also aid me to boost my confidence. Being creative in presentation can attract other and
this also develops innovative skills to an individual.
Moreover, I have analyzed that in terms of professional development I need to improve
some skills as well. This will help me in my professional growth. Thus, I have evaluated that it is
necessary to work in team so that desired outcome are attained. While working in team it allows
each one to contribute. Also, complex tasks are easily done. Moreover, for growth team working
skills need to be effective and efficient. I need to enhance this skill so that i am able to work in
professional way and can easily work in any team. The skill with sharpen my ability to work in
team. Enhancing this area will he highly useful for me to achieve my goals in specified time. With
that I will work in effective way in every team.
I have analyzed that I need to enhance my time management skills. I found that I need to
manage my work on time so that there is no delay in completion of tasks. For that I need to develop

a schedule and work accordingly. This will help me in managing my work and maintaining balance
between personal and professional life. Furthermore, i will be able to achieve my goals by working
in timely manner. This will be helpful for me in my professional growth. Along with it, I will work
in discipline way and it will increase mt efficiency of doing more work in less time. Therefore, my
productivity will rise as well. So, these are areas where I need to develop in both academic and
professional way. It will help me in building my career.
