INTRODUCTION
Self development is lifelong process and this is way for the people to identify their
qualities, skills and set objectives to realise and enhance potential. It covers the
activities which improve the awareness and also identity, potential, develop human
capital and also facilitate employment that contribute towards realisation of aspirations
and dreams. The self development is necessary process as it gives the people better
opportunities for gaining perspectives regarding lives and plan for the future. It does not
help person to be professionally but help to manage the emotions and feelings in better
way (Fassin and Thang, 2016). Under this present report going to discuss about the self
reflection on performance in group performance. There will be discussion regarding
action plan that intend to create personally and the professionally in future.
This module is undertaking through me as this is necessary for me to improve
and increase my skills in future. The main reason behind undertaking this module is that
it has been examined through me that some of my skills are not good and need to me
improve for gaining efficiency. In relation to future, this is necessary that all the
important skills needs to be possessed through me. As with presence of all required
skills I can attain my objectives in significant way.
MAIN BODY
1) Reflection on performance in group presentation
I worked in a group and gave the group presentation. This has been determined
that working in group is more challenging for me as there is a requirement of effective
communication as well as coordination. In relation to this, this has been determined that
it is necessary for people to lean to work with the other people to attain set career
objectives in proper manner. In a group presentation, there are many people involved
with different skills and competencies. From the group presentation, I leant about make
coordination with the other people involved in group presentation. In order to collection
of data, I learnt to collect information regarding presentation from authentic sources. On
the other hand, I learnt about tackle the complex issues which could on their own for
getting positive outcomes. At the time of this module, with the help of group
presentation, I developed mental thinking process such as thinking, reasoning, and

intelligence. I learned different types of skills and focus on increasing them effectively. It
was determined that there were many tasks during the workshop that I need to pursue
on individual and group basis. In the group presentation, team was developed under
which the people have different knowledge and skills allotted with various kinds of
responsibilities and roles. In order to deliver presentation, this is necessary for all
people involved in presentation to have maintain the better communication with the
each other and share their perception and ideas effectively. The subject area of
presentation is related to how to ensure the success as student. Me as a student have
some knowledge regarding this. Under this presentation content covered about the
success for student, communication skills, interpersonal communication skill, preparing
for group work. In gave my participation in presentation in collecting the information and
preparing for the group work because my area of communication skill is not good. I
have some issues in communicating in public or in front of audience. Each steps in
presentation are managed in a fair manner. In a group, to designate the roles and the
responsibilities to each person, meeting was conducted that turned more productive and
each group member know about the roles and responsibilities in an effective or
significant way. On the other hand, the new information that has been presented related
to search the books and articles from google scholar instead of google search. The
google scholar provides the relevant and authentic information regarding specific
subject area effectively. The interesting thing in the presentation is including the videos
and ask questions at the time of presentation so that the audience can understand the
concept of presentation and make it better. Other than this, it has been identified that
from first week of preparing presentation my knowledge, confidence level and
communication skill had developed in a better manner. In relation to this, the
communication skills needed to be improve through me to enhance my career
opportunities in a proper way. On the other hand, the main issue arise through me is
related to not able to manage the activities in systematic manner and within specific
period of time. It developed negative impact on my working efficiency. For this, it is
needed through me to create the skills to attaining the task and activities within specific
time period. I identified that critical thinking and the time management approach needed
to be improve and increase through me. In relation to make improvement in these skills,

it is necessary to engage in the activities on continuous basis that include in the critical
thinking and also attain them through scheduling on the basis of time. Furthermore, in a
group, each member was with polite behaviour with the each other and avoid the
conflict that result in the better outcomes. I determined that the main thing that was
confused and not understand in a proper manner was decision making. It develop
negative impact on my performance level. I faced problem related to the decision
making as there are some other individuals involved in group and they have the
different perception so complexities faced in related to the decision making. On the
other hand, through problem solving skills, the process of intellectual thinking of each
group member enhanced that aids in attaining the specific target with in given time
frame effectively.
2) Areas need to develop
Under this, there are some areas which need to developed by me for meet with
the set objectives. In regards to this, there are various knowledge and skills which
needed to developed in an effective manner for attaining goals significantly such as
communication, decision making and time management skills. On the basis of
presentation, The main areas which I need to developed are time management,
decision making and communication skills. These all skills help in personal and
professional level. It is necessary for me to developed or make improvement in these
skills for performing the work in signifiant manner. Other than this, this is necessary for
me to join the various courses which can enhance my knowledge and make
improvement in may career growth. I am more focused towards enhancing creativity
sense and also deal with the challenging environment to make the better decision-
making significantly. I identified that to enhance all the skills, motivation is most factor.
In regards to this, self motivation helps in enhance my performance level that assist me
in develop my knowledge and skills. Through having the practice gratitude I can able to
deal with the challenges while giving the group presentation. Other than this, there are
some strengths that help in attain future expectation effectively. My strengths are
patience, Diplomatic and enthusiastic. As in presentation, I face issues in the
communication skills and interpersonal skills areas. These are my weakness because I
feel hesitate to communicate or make interaction in front of audiences. In regards to

this, I need to develop face to face communication with the other person and also face
with challenges at the time of developing skills. To develop communication and
interpersonal communication, I have to work on this for 20 days so that I can easily
communicate with people. In order to develop the time management skills I need to
prioritise the work means give priority to the important work. On the other hand, I need
to set the deadlines of every task so that it was easy for me to completing the specific
task with in given time frame. Without having the better time management skills. I can
not able to attain the objectives and goals in a particular time period. For developing the
decision making skill, I need to collect the information regarding situation and
understand factors which included in issue or situation. For making the better decisions,
I need to take opinions of other people in a group and also encourage the information
sharing effectively. In order to improving the decision making skill, I can able to take the
better decisions which will in favour of every person in a group.
3) Action Plan
In order to achieve targets and objectives in an appropriate manner, various kind
of knowledge and skills are required. These skills helps an individual in performing their
work in a systematic manner so that high advantage in personal and professional level
can be achieved. Also, I have evaluated and analysed that there are various kind of
skills and knowledge that is needed to be developed by me so that my future can
became more secure and stable. In this context, best way is to formulate an action plan
so that I can develop and improve my skills as per requirements. In order to prepare this
action plan I have taken helps from my tutor and seniors so that I can include all the
essential information without any complexity. Basically, I have emphasize on developing
my three skills which are decision-making, time management and relationship building.
If these skills of mine will be developed then I will not have to face any challenges while
performing my job role in appropriate manner.

CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from above information that there are different measured
through which a person can able to perform activities and attain the objectives in
significant manner. There has been discussion about the performance in group
presentation. The things which learned, new information that has been present,
interested things, use of new information and confused about content has been studied
in a better manner. An assistance with various knowledge and competencies of a
person can fulfil desired future objectives with several opportunities effectively. It has
been analysed that to assure better performance, an individual need to manage the
activities on the basis of the set time period. The areas which an individual need to be
developed has been discussed in a detailed manner. On the basis of improvement area,
there has been action plan developed that intended to create on personal and
professional basis on future.
