1. How and why have the mini project workshops contributed towards
the development of your employability? (500 word)
During the course of the mini-projects workshops, I believe I have learnt a lot of skills
and things which has helped me in development of my employability. The mini-projects
consisted of many areas of personal development and improvement with the help of
preparation of personal development plan, SWOT analysis, time-management schedule and
many more things. For example, preparation of personal development plan has helped me to
identify the skills and qualities which are essential for me to develop in order to improve my
employability. Personal development plan has helped me in mapping out the activities which
I need to complete for development of desired skills along with the timelines of skill

development. A SWOT analysis conducted during the mini project workshops made me
aware about the strengths and weakness which I possess and how can I turn my weaknesses
into strengths. Self-awareness is a virtue which can only be inculcated with the help of
periodic self-analysis with respect to personal strengths and weakness. Over the duration of
these workshops, I have thrived upon a wholesome personal growth which has helped me in
improving my skillset for future employability. As a part of the project, I undertook reading
activities on a daily basis which has helped me a lot in improving my reading comprehension.
Reading comprehension and understanding is an important aspect of aptitude which is
desirable by every employer and hence, helps in improving my employability. I have learned
a great deal of time management over the duration of the project which is an important skill
everyone should possess. Time management helps in improving the quality of work and the
effectiveness of the work which is being assigned to any employee. As a result of better time
management skills, I believe I have certainly helped myself in improving my employability.
The activities in the project have helped me in determination of my career goals and
aspirations. As per my opinion, determination of career goals and having a clarity of thought
is important in development of skills and qualities which are required as per the career
aspirations. I believe establishing career goals has provided me a direction for taking up
activities for my personal development. I also came across the features of a good and bad
presentation. Presentation is an important skill which is very imperative for every employee
to have considering the dynamic business environment. I have learned the features which
must be included in a presentation to increase its effectiveness such as the number of slides
should not be more than 10 and the content in the presentation should be in brief and details. I
have also learned the art of answering and responding to the questions after any presentation.
To conclude, I can say that over the period of mini-project work shops, I have developed
skills such as time management, presentation, communication skills as an important aspect of
my personal development plan and more importantly I have prepared a plan to convert my
weaknesses into future strengths which according to me is definitely helpful for me in
improving my employability.
