1. Reflect on my performance in the group presentation and in the module
The scenario of today's business world is full of competition, there are many alternatives
available in a market relating to products. As there is no monopoly in an open market, businesses
have grown which has created many employment and contributed to the economy. In this hub of
business world an individual requires to make himself update about the business world and its
impact on the world economy and an individual . The competitive environment opens up various
number of opportunities with a platform by which they can develop their skills along while
subscribed with a job. It is a settle observation that an individual while in job can enhanced and
develop skills and abilities(Armstrong 2019.). Training and development is also essential for the
initials which helps the new candidate to understand the task and gradually with time they
became habitual of that work. This report will present the reflective prepositions about the time
management and communication skills. Along with this , there will be an action plan which will
help in developing this report. The action plan will be based on the learnings provided in the
reflexive relation which will assist both, personal and practical knowledge of life of an
individual.
Here, I feel greatly wonderful, as I got the opportunity to become the precious part of this group
presentation and with the assistance and support of this group I could able to learn many things
and which led me to increase my skills and knowledge. As per may reflection about the topic is
my personal understanding and productive discussion which enabled me to extract the relevant
and reliable information with this group. The important thing which I learned from this project is
the systematic study and proper knowledge and understanding of the various topics and how to
assimilate the information. As I am well assure about my self that I am no good at face to face
interaction with the people and that is truly not good for me and it is a high time that I should
grab this opportunity and pull myself out from my comfort zone and face the fear which had kept
me silent for many years. The idea is to improve, no matter what mistake i do , I did mistakes
but I did try my best without fear. I realised while performing that if I am confidant and have a
basic knowledge about the content which I present , then things get easier, we only need a little
strength to present it to the audience effectively. Though I can communicate but when it comes
to speak in gatherings or in public, things get little harder, also I like to talk with people who
seems to be like me but that fact is that we should know when to speak and what to speak. The

good thing about me is that I have a good understanding about the people, with less talk I able to
catch the intention and purpose of an individual. The important thing in any conversation is to
understand the intentions and emotions of the opposite person(Hansen,Carnett andTullis). However,
communication skills is still important. Therefore, considering and acknowledging my
drawbacks I started working on my skills in order to improve as fast as possible to achieve the
desired result which, I seriously looking forward to accomplish my time management skills.
There are number of information which I obtained while preparing for this presentation and
gathered relevant information on the concern topic. While preparing for this presentation I got to
identify the needs of personal development in a project by which an individual can achieve
maximum benefits as well as develop and enhanced their own personality to perform task more
effectively which enables the person to to achieve the positive result at the end of the task. The
other thing which made me realise while preparing for this presentation is that the attitude should
be of problem solving. The situations and events like this are the opportunities which test your
knowledge, skills and endurance power, that how much pressure can you bear and handle with
the positive attitude. Therefore I take this as an opportunity and prepare myself mentally to try.
So I started develop and improve my problem solving skills seriously with interest and this
helped me to display my abilities and analytical approaches to solve the different problems.
As per my understanding about myself in my daily activities what I found I that, most often the
decision i make in my everyday life determines daily activities. The decision making skills are
most crucial part of an individuals life . Good decision making skills can change and put you at
very different level from others who don't have such ability. Most people leave in confusion they
don't have idea about their life. It drastically impacts their life,career ,relationships, and future.
All this things I could only understood properly while preparing for this assignment, discussion
with people for more clarity on topic. I realised that there is lot to be learn. There are lot of things
which I have not learned so far and this feelings do not let me leave with happiness, life is one
and every human must make good use of his/her life and do thing which are relevant and
important. So, in order to maintain an effective, productive and busy life it is imperative for an
individual to manage it and prepare a to do list with small targets with deadlines . For this
individual has to be more flexible, confident and open to himself and must believe in his beliefs.
Each individual needs to be industrious and committed to its given target and give full energy to
make it accomplished(Majid and et.al 2019).

2. The academic and professional skills that I need to develop further
Communication skills: communication is an essential part of human life. Communication is a
medium by which people exchange their thoughts with each other. It is a two way
communication process in which one person who speaks called speaker and the other who listens
the speaker is the listener. A person should have the effective and professional communication
skills and a good knowledge of information(Nalawade Moreand Bhola). Soon after I finished with
this project, I realised my skills are not so effective and I need to practice and work on my
communication skills then only I can perform better. As I was one of the member associated
with group, we all collectively has to perform the given assignment within a set period of time.
During preparation I faced a lot of difficulties which made me frustrated, because I could not
able to communicate with my teammates and that brought me a lot of problems in understanding
the topic. The information circulating among the team members was without clarification and it
was tough to understand and prepare the project. Ineffective communication creates gaps in the
information and misinformation can cause a big loss. The fault was totally on my part and I am
rather accountable for my mistakes that I did not communicate properly with my teammates and
this has affected me negatively in my project. As I did not consolidate the relevant information
which was the requisite in this project, my presentation was not as effective as I was expecting. I
am no good at listening too, I hear but I cannot understand the main message of the speaker,
sometimes I forgot or sometimes I just don't understand what other person is communicating.
Therefore, along with the interaction skills I seriously need to address my listening skills.
Considering the essentiality of the communication I must start working on both the essentials of
the communication the first thing I need to work on listening and then try to improve my skills
on language command. I started working on this issues, sooner or later I will improve and this
will help me in my future projects and social life. This efforts Will indeed bring many positive
changes in my personality too and I am sure that I will gain confidence by practising daily.
Time Management : time management is the arrangement of daily activities in different time
slots, a disciplined person always sets his time schedule, he does his daily work as per his time
management(Hodge Wanek and Rech). Its an skill which takes time, practise and dedication to
develop. Time management is easy but when it cones to follow the management it becomes
tough for many people who try first time(Schartel Dunn and Lane 2019). If I talk about myself on

time management I would say I rather poor in managing my own time. I often get confused
where to invest time and where not, the topics are generally classified into tasks, there are sort
task and long task , long task requires long study and research to understand the topic and short
task is normally simple and easy to operate as it consumes less time to understand(Rothwel and
Shields). The thing here is to develop a skill in order to complete the given project within a given
deadline and it requires proper time management. My issue with time management is that it took
a lot time just to understand the topic and extract relevant information from the study. Therefore,
I need to develop my time management skills for my daily life schedule to make my each day
productive which will help me in my career building.
3. An action plan
Action plan is an activity which is performed by an individual in order to improve its
performance and skills while executing targets and use means to improve them. I also subscribed
myself to this action plan for improving my communication skills as well as tech skills by which
I can bring efficiency and productivity in my work and deliver the desired results. A detailed

for improvement is stated below:
