REFELCTION
Employability is a kind of ability which is required to be present within an individual in
order to gain employability. Employability helps a person to achieve success. In this workshop
there were various kinds of mini projects, some of them helped me in developing employability
skills and some of them contributed in enhancing my employability skills. Each mini project
helped me in enhancing my knowledge and skills so that I can present them in front of the
employer. Task management helped me in understanding ways in which I can carry out a task in
different stages such as planning, development and completion. It is one of the most important
employability skills which is required to be present within an individual so that they can evaluate
new task or project and can gain an understanding of ways in which they are required to
complete the project or task in an appropriate manner. This workshop also helped me in
understanding ways in which an effective group is formed so that group task can be completed in
an effective manner. This helped in in understanding characteristics of an effective group. It is an
important employability skill as within organization we are required to work on many group task
or projects for which understanding of characteristics of an effective group is required. One of
the most important employability skills developed from these mini project workshops is
presentation skill. With the help of these mini projects I was able to understand ways to prepare
presentation, elements that are required to be present in an effective presentation. Attending this
workshop has also helped in enhancing my communication skills. In professional context is an
extremely important employability skill as it helps in sharing ideas, information or messages
with each other.
With the help of mini projects this workshop also helped in gaining understanding of
academic integrity. It helped in in understanding what plagiarism and academic integrity is. It
plays a vital role in developing employability skills because professionally an employee is not
supposed to copy or use someone else work and if they do then they are required to give credit to
creator of the work. With this workshop I was also able to bring improvement within my
academic writing and type of writing. It is important to be known as it helps in bringing
improvement within academic writing in professional life as it helps an individual to develop
reports and present it to higher authorities or clients. One of the most important things learned by
me during these mini projects workshop was to develop an appropriate CV. In order to gain
employability CV plays a vital role. This project helped in gaining understanding of things that

are required to be included within the CV, ways in which it should be presented as it helps the
employee to make their employer understand what they are ideal candidate for the job. Another
important mini project that helps me in enhancing my current skills and develop new
employability skill was introduction to employability skills. This mini project helped me in
learning leadership, self-development, social and ethical awareness and responsibility, creativity
etc. these skills helps an individual to achieve success within their professional like. Lastly this
mini project workshop helped me in understanding values of reflection which is an extremely
important professional employability skills which is required within an individual as it helps an
individual to learn from their own actions and ways in which they can bring improvement within
their skills. It further helps an individual to analyse a particular situation and act accordingly.
Selection Reading Logs Related to the Project
This is important for the people to gain knowledge and information in order to improve
self accountability in order to improve personal and professional career. To perform personal
development it is required to develop certain skills that can help individual person in professional
career. With in the study process there are different study logs were there that can be used as
reading material to develop effective knowledge (Faris, J., 2018). The study material are selected
form different consideration and the main objective of selection of thee topic is dependent on the
requirement improve the self capability. The logs that are selected in the report are related to task
skill management, group formation or team building, presentation skills, communication skills,
academic integrity, academic writing skills, value of the reflection process or practice and
introduction of the employability skills. These documents are about improving the skills of
individual person in organization to develop personal capability in effective manner.
Class Work
Communication skills are important for the individual person in different manner. These
skills can help the individual person to gain capability to effective develop and grow in corporate
environment.
Communication skills can be considered as the process which is used by the people for
sharing ideas, information, and messages to the other people at particular time and place that is
associated with specific objective. This is how communication is important for everyone. For the
process of communication Language if one of the most effective too that is used by the people to
perform effective communication and deliver effective information or data to target people. there

are different types of communication which are used by people in different ways. Main type of
communication processes that are used by people are- Verbal communication as speaking,
written communication, non verbal communication such as body language and gestures, visual
communication like photographs and paintings and electronic communication like phne calls and
electronic mails (Preston and Fraser-Thomas, 2018). This is how various process of
communication are used by people for the process of communication.
Effectiveness of Project
As per my view project that is performed in the process is highly effective to full fill the
objectives. The main objective of the project is to develop information and knowledge of
communication skill in the process of academic and professional areas. The content that is
considered in the project is completely related to the personal and professional skills that are
required by people in professional and personal career. The information logs that are selected in
the project are mostly about developing some skills and knowledge of various process that can
help the individual person to get better result with professional career. in my opinion the data an
content that is considered in class work and project is highly effective to provide better
knowledge and skills to an individual person. In the project various type of information sources
are used that are consists of information to develop certain skills in person (Duboust, S. and
Knight, P., 2018). I think that the logs that are related to communication skills and task
management skills can help the individual person to get better knowledge to perform in
professional and personal life. The document like task management skill is highly important for
individual person to develop as effective professional. I have evaluated that there is huge impact
of content or knowledge that is provided to the people with in the class rooms. These content can
help the individual to learn various personal and professional kills in effective manner. By this
project various objectives that are related to the personal and professional skill can be achieved
in the report. So it can be considered as the project that is completed is highly effective an
accountable for future. It can improve the personal and professional skills of people. As per my
opinion the tasks and data provided to the people is highly accountable for people and it can be
used by the people to get better result with development and learning process of different skills
that are required in professional corporate career.

Type of Academic Writing
There are various examples of academic writing that are used by different institutions to
improve the professional skills of students. There are different purposes are associated in
providing the people with academic writing tasks I order to improve their writing skills along
with presentation skill. These skills can be used by the people in order to develop and grow
effectively in professional career. There are different academic writing can be used by people
are- Descriptive writing, analytical writing, persuasive writing, critical writing and resource
writing. This is various type of academic writing is used by the people to learn some professional
and personal skills through the project. Each type of academic writing can provide opportunity to
the people to learn various skills that are required to perform such writing with in the project
(Lancer, N. and Eatough, V., 2018). This is how some of the example of academic writing can
improve the personal and professional skills of people.
SUMMARY
In this workshop each student was required to select some mini projects to attend. Each
student was given a choice of the portfolio from which they were required to select some mini
projects. Each mini project has its own importance. Mini projects from the portfolio were
selected by me in such a manner that it can help me in developing employability skills which
will further help in gaining job as per my knowledge and skills, which is suitable and appropriate
for me. There are various skills that ae required to be developed or enhanced in order to gain
success professionally. I had developed an action plan in order to identify what kind of skills are
required to be improved within me and what kind of skills are required to be developed within
me. Each project helped in bringing improvement within me which is beneficial for me to
achieve success within my professional career. Projects from portfolio chosen by me are task
management skills, group formation, presentation skills, communication skills, academic
integrity, academic writing skills, understanding value of reflection, employability skills and CV
writing. Each of these projects helped me in enhancing my employability skills and strength my
chances of acquiring excellent job as per my knowledge and skills. I an extremely good in oral
skills but there was a need to bring improvement within by writing skills. This workshop helped
in enhancing my communication skills. I am cooperative and know how to work within a group
or within a team but I am not good in group formation. So, group formation project was chosen
so that I can lean and understand characteristics of effective group. CV was chon by me because

CV is one of the most important things which helps an individual to acquire a job which is
perfect for them. It also makes the employer understand reason because of which candidate is an
ideal candidate for the designation. Academic writing and integrity projects were chosen so that I
can learn ways in which reports are written and importance of one’s ow work. Lastly
employability skills project was chosen so that I can learn all kinds of important skills that are
required to be developed within an individual.
