INTRODUCTION
Self efficiency may be defined as an individual's belief in terms of his capabilities in order to
execute behaviours which is important to produce specific performance (Schreck, Weilbach and
Reitsma, 2020). It plays crucial role in making individual more productive. In student's life they
face various challenges and are needed to be addressed by improving efficiency in order to
eliminate those challenges. This project report is based on reflection and it will cover strengths
and weakness along with strategies that I have articulated so that I can improve my efficiency.
TASK
Competencies in successful education
There are numerous benefits of self efficiency in student's life as it gives various opportunities by
which it can make his career successful. It facilitates in achieving academic success as well as
boost self confidence to achieve academic task as well as successful learning of materials.
Students can develop core competencies when they engage in doing curricular competencies
within learning area. They are integral part of curriculum. All the core competencies are
interconnected and are foundational to learning (Tarmo and Kimaro, 2021). It does not end with
school graduation but continues with social, educational and personal contexts. All teachers and
guardians share responsibility of ongoing development of core competencies. Following are the
core competencies of successful education.
Core competencies of successful education
Communication -This competency involves all the skills, disposition and processes and to
interact with other. It helps in creating healthy relationship among students. By
communicating with each other, it help students in sharing ideas, opinions and thoughts
and to promote self efficiency. They can get insight of knowledge and skills from other
students. Sharing and exchanging of ideas helps students in getting extra knowledge
based on other student's thinking and knowledge.
Thinking -This competencies help in enhancing self efficiency of students as they take
subject wise concepts and transform them into new understanding. They understand
based on their perception and knowledge. It may be used to process information from
variety of sources such as thoughts and feelings.

student's identity in world, in terms of both individuals and as a member of community
and society (Veiskarami, Ghadampour and Mottaghinia, 2017).

Leadership -It is the first attribute which makes students self efficient as they have the
ability to direct other students towards attainment of personal and academic goals.
High expectations – By having high expectation, it positively impacts on student's
performance. They can be more productive if they have a strong vision or high
expectations. Students can put extra efforts in order to attain personal and academic
goals.
Ongoing evaluation -It can be used to make students more productive as it helps in
assessing their strengths and weaknesses. By evaluating weakness, they can take
corrective measures in order to become more productive (Brooks and Burton, 2020).
Goals and directions -It is important for students to set goals and to put efforts in order to
achieve before meeting of deadlines.
Secure and organized – it is important to have security of students and must have an
organized schedule in order to improve efficiency.
Strategies on the basis of past behaviour
After completion of this module I have analysed that I am lacking in various areas that I have to
fill gap in order to improve my productivity. I have also analysed my strengths from which I am
not aware about. I have study various theories of management as I was not familiar with. By this
I got insights and how can I use in my academics in order to become better student. This module
help me in self awareness. I have studied about various theories and by them I got clarity in
various applications by which I am not aware about it. When I have started this module, I am
facing many challenges as I was not aware about its concepts. But I took help of teachers and
peers in order to resolves my issues. I have also read article and journal in order to get clarity in
concepts. But after completion of this module, I feel confident as I was able to assess my
strengths and I can use in my academics. This will help me in improving my efficiency and I can
become a better student. I can feel a lot of difference when I have started this module and after
completion. I have decided this module in early morning as it keeps me energetic and I can
student's identity in world, in terms of both individuals and as a member of community

students in subjects they are studying along with providing clear guidance on improvement.

formulate strategies so that they can take corrective measures in order to overcome weaknesses
along with focusing on strengths. It is needed to take feedback in a positive manner and to make
strategies to resolve problems in their respective subjects.
