INTRODUCTION
An individual should focus on self-development and managing own in order to achieve
growth and success in personal as well as professional career (Alam, Sun and Campbell, 2020).
Managing our self can be done by making continuous improvement in own skills, be accountable
for the failure or success received from allotted task etc. The present report discusses the same
with the help of applying Kolb’s Reflective cycle which is used to review, analyse and evaluate
own experience in three stages systematically.
MAIN BODY
Reflection
Kolb's reflective cycle: It is a cycle that is reflects the basis of experimental learning
which is gained as from individual as while reviewing, evaluating, analysing various
consequences systematically. In support of cycle collective increment of knowledge and
experience is getting enhanced on continuous basis. It is a model that was published in 1984 and
basically consist of four stages that is as concrete learning, abstract conceptualisation, reflective
observation and active experimentation. It is also been used to intensify the rate of progress
through which logical learning and experimenting is processed with certain balanced. In order to
advance the management criterion's of mine I have make effective and efficient usage of
reflective cycle. As it assist to make suitable consideration of different factors and components
through which growth and success has been measured by me with perfection. In order to develop
make mine management more effective I have start conducting different activities so that
sustained relevance is getting generated with continuity (Atwijuka and Caldwell, 2017). I have
make use of different set of activities such as formative assessment, online engagement on
Minerva, summative assessment, feedback, learning from produced courses, discussion and its
evidence of tutor learning and many others as well. It also aid to produce structured usage under
which I have develop sufficient understanding and interpretation of various activities through
which personalised changes is altered with certain balanced. Thus this model is being used to
design and develop experimental learning cycle and it is as furthermore explained below as:
Concrete experience: It is an initial stage of cycle under which I have encountered and
along with this also tries to reinterprets an existing experiences and knowledge (Hodges, 2016).
In this I have expose new task and actions through which better way of learning is addressed

capability is enhanced with certain continuity (Dale, 2018). It is even more helpful as while
enhancing the overall potential of mine under which I have make selective judgements as per the
suitability of condition and its requirement as well. On the other hand I have also make collective
usage of summative assessments as well in which ability of mine to enhance and improve written
skills and abilities is increases. In this capabilities of mine to get over from all the complex
situations become more easier and flexible. In addition problem solving is the most essential
basis of management and I have developed that skill in mine as with the support of summative
assessments. It make me realise that all the certain need and requirements has been fulfilled in
systematic way as in addition specified skills and abilities has been enhanced.
Reflective observation: It is next stage of learning in which I have tries to learn as by
enhancing various capabilities of observation. In support of this I have understand the failure and
success factors or components and its probability as by analysing its impact over my
performance. It is a level that allows me to evaluate and intensify working experience of mine as
while analysing all the individual task and activities that is performed by me over certain period
of time (Dweck, 2016)). As while observing certain factors I have develop better knowledge as
by reviewing, reflecting the experience which is processed as after the completion of particular
task and actions. I have explore more ideas and working standards of mine by which sustained
learning is developed so that balanced kind of skills and characteristics has been developed with

done through past experiences. Under this stage I have undertaken various active
experimentation so as to understand concept of self management and to inhale positive impact
from them so as to enlighten my future. Under this aspect data from various source so as to
strengthen my self management skills. There are various formative assessment which has been
taken and through those I learnt management skills and self management approach. On the other
hand as summative assessment was also conducted and the same helped me to clear theoretical
aspect of self management theory due to which I overcome with many threats during self
management (Marthers, 2018). I have obtained various feedbacks through which I understood
the areas in which I am lacking behind and with the help of critical analysis I undertaken them
and improved as well. This helped me through out my journey to understand various concept of
self management and improving my academic work and enlighten my career path. Abstract
conceptualisation is basically an approach under which past experiences are gathered through
which new approaches of learning can be modified. Under this area with the help of my past
experiences which are taken by undertaking various online test or online engagements. These are
the areas which are giving me high end knowledge to understand the manner in which various
mistakes are being made by me in past and helping me to eliminate the same in future projects.
By discussing numerous factors with my tutor I came to know regarding loop hole of my
concepts and technique of idea germination. This leads me to analyse various information which
are collected by me by collaborating my past experiences and examining the same so as to

academic skills as well. This assisted me to take positive movements in future proceedings and
enlighten my future academic career (Wadsworth, 2016).

better way. On the other hand this model is helpful for individual in gathering various

through which they can analyse their current position and modify as according to the need. This
