INTRODUCTION
Self-management is defined as the ability of an individual to manage their behaviour and

is regarded as one of the significant model which is used by organisation in order to manage their
employees and to exhibit responsibilities among employees. In current time organisation focuses
on managing their employees in such a manner that their skills can be used within business. This
is necessary to determine effectiveness of self-management approaches so that to develop
contribution of employees and to encourage their voices and opinions. Besides this companies of
current era are trying to encourage their employees in such a way that voices and suggestions of
employees can be valued so that overall business efficiency can be utilised within organisation so
that to attain research objectives (Jackson and Wilton, 2016). The efficiency of self-management
approaches within an organisation helps the organisation to develop their performance along
with individual performance as well. Self-management approaches help the organisation to
enhance their growth opportunities and to gain employees focus in order to complete specific
tasks and to exert appropriate plan as well. This research report is related with analysing
effectiveness of self-management approaches within an organisation for the sole objectives of
managing employees. Through having self-management skills, people can regulate and control
their feelings, through and action. It is important for UK retail industry to focus on improving the
