INTRODUCTION
In this introduction we are giving a detailed impression on Time management, stress
management, self motivating and problem solving. We have also included their four factors
which are the importance of the respective skill and why its selected for the individual. The
second factor we are introducing is the reflections of these skills on individual current competent
and how does it asses the competences. The third factor is the identification of these skills from
their respective analysis. The last factor is how will these skills help an individual to his future.
REFLECTIVE JOURNAL
1.TIME MANAGEMENT
Time management describe its value that is managing the right time for the allocated
right work. I do have the time management skills for managing work on time which improve
myself and company growth. It is my basic role and responsibility to utilize the all time
management techniques with my noted duties. The work details will help me to create an
organized file which will focus on the important activities of work very first. At the last I will
check my entire task on calendar to know the exact time for completing the task.
IMPORTANCE OF TIME MANAGEMENT
Time management improve the personal growth and develop the career. Time
management according to the theory of Maslow define the use of time which help to achieve the
organisation targets. (Catmur, Cross, and Over, 2016) It also helps for setting objectives and
goals, effective planning, deadline settings and managing the work on right time with efficiency.
At the other side Abraham Maslow also focus to understand the organisation needs and time
setting for the accomplishment of goals and activities that no other can defeat.
REFLECTIONS ON MY CURRENT COMPETENT REGARDING THIS SKILL. HOW
DID I ASSESS MY COMPETENCE
I am now sure about my time management skills that I have practices all the techniques
of time management. When I perform any task my collogues and friends give their good
complement toward my time utilization skills. My teachers and other leaders accomplish my
work talent and I submit my given work on time or within my deadlines. I concentrate on the
feedbacks given by my team mates, teachers, superiors and parents which help me to look upon
my time management skills and with that I become competent enough.

Mostly I face cope up with distractions in time management. They distract me to focus on
my work which directly impact on my achievement of goals. This kind of interruptions gain
restriction in my concentration during the task. The another contradiction is that I can not choose
what work I have to do first. I lose my focus when the next work is given to me and I start
thinking about my next project.
HOW TIME MANAGEMENT HELP ME IN THE FUTURE
Time management skills are important in all fields in my career. It will make me famous
among my team mates when I perform every task on time and with efficiency. I can manage my
weakness in the future which I am facing during time management. Along with this I am also
able to achieve success continuously in my future organisation. Time management techniques
help me to give my hundred percent on work and also give profit for the respective organisation.
2.FOCUS AND ATTENTION
Stress management is a skill which is used by any psychotherapist's to minimize or
decrease the level of stress for any individual person and to focus and pay more attention on
assigned task (Richard Lazarus and Folkman). I will focus on the things which are affecting my
performance and making me stressful in constant situations. This changes include the techniques
from which I can control my stress such as relaxation, meditation and the management of my
reactions towards the stressful situations.
IMPORTANCE OF STRESS MANAGEMENT
Stress has some effect which may be harmful for person during the task and these are
physical and mental pressure, tensions and anxiety. Stress can also affect capability of an
individual in respect to paying due attention on performed task (Kang, Gray, and Dovidio, 2015).
I also set my mind at a positive way that i can handle the stress in any situation. I used to enjoy
my interests and hobbies to decrease the level of stress. A positive network among me helps me
in my work and make my happy so that I can release my pressure.

DID I ASSESS MY COMPETENCE
I can enjoy my work with the practice or use of the stress management skills. My
subordinates always see me happy and enjoying my life freely. I tell them how to reduce stress
and focus on task while working or if any stressful situation come towards you. I added the word

relaxation and meditation in my dictionary. I also notice the positive effect of using these
techniques in my stress and work. Now I am confident that I can achieve my goals with the use
of this skill. To check my competencies I applied emotional intelligence as a questionnaire. Now
I am able to express my feelings and needs by using these feelings. I can control my anger and
level of stress.

I obtain that I feel very tensed while facing any small problems. The main obstacles
which I occur during the stress situations that I can not concentrate on my work and the
techniques which I used to apply for minimising my stress. During the stress conflicts I am not
able to think or control my mind. The stress of my personal life also affect my work. I also can't
focus to the targets and objectives of the organisation but I also know that I am proficient to
solve these situations and clear the way of my success.
HOW STRESS MANAGEMENT HELP ME IN THE FUTURE
Stress management skills may be useful for the growth of organisation. Along with these
techniques I am able to perform well in my task as well as in my person life or career as well.
This will help me in the future to reinforce my creativeness and maintenance towards the
production skills in my career. This will also increase my immunity power which improve my
performance at the workplace. Stress management improve the physical, emotional and
psychological state in any human being however the decisions will be efficient and improve the
quality of life.
3.CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Problem solving skills describes the uses of thinking in terms of planning, organising,
directing, reviewing and evaluating the skills to attend the occurring problems during the
workplace in order to solve any sort of conflict (Baron-Cohen, Tager-Flusberg, and Lombardo,
2013). In any organisation a manager should be a problem solver and also capable of taking
decisions on time with his effectiveness and efficiency. Problem solving attitude help in
organisation operational benefits. Organisation can decrease the ratio of losses and increase the
profit to compete the others.

IMPORTANCE OF PROBLEM SOLVING
Problem solving skills lead a main role in manager’s work. The uses of these skills make
me confident to do my daily tasks and decisions with accuracy which is good for improving my
strengths. These skills are very important for internal and external environment relationships.
There are different techniques to use in problem solving such as understanding and evaluating of
problems defining the alternatives and a proper execution for the solutions(Rochat, 2014).

I start focus on the risks for solving the occurring problems with my confidence and
without losing my temper or getting angry. I analyse the situations and find the better solution to
solve them. My employees give their attention and use their dedication to help the organisation
for solving problems. I also concluded that there is a lack of employees performances that they
become sometimes lazy and pay less attention during the execution of work. The team members
have some specific roles and responsibilities to achieve the organisation goals and require
effectiveness to solve the problems.

The contradictions arise from the analysis of problem solving is that it takes so much
time to solve a problem. I am not able to take correct decision-making. The stress increase my

Problem solving helps me to create new customers and also effective for my organisation

help me and my organisation to achieve their individual targets and goals.
4.TEAM WORKING
Self-motivation techniques and skills help individual in working in team with full zeal
and enthusiasm (Sammut, Daanen, and Moghaddam, 2013). To achieve individual and team
goals and targets self-motivation is a key to remind himself that he can achieve those

respectively. Self-motivation also reminds me what better I can do and which things are valuable
to improve my success towards goals. The motivational books and articles give me self
motivation regarding to my targets.
IMPORTANCE OF SELF MOTIVATION
Self-motivation is really necessary to achieve anything in my life. It improves my
personal growth and also develop my skills and also assist to deliver better performance and
contribute to team (Cozolino, 2014). At a time I lost my confidence and my hopes to do anything
but when I read a motivational article which inspired me that nothing is impossible and there is
nothing which you can't do. It increases my self motivation and brings believe in my own. Self
motivation is a tree where you can find fruits of opportunities and take them as your initiatives.

Through self-motivation I had developed myself into a motivation leader who cooperate
with every member in the team. This will include staff of my team that is operating at workplace.
The help of self-motivation power supports me to defeat all the accruing problems that our team
usually face in day to day work. I used the Johari window to get an idea or identification of how
comparable I am to others at present. Johari windows has four parts of self-motivation to provide
an extra idea of increasing self-motivation. If I am able to understand what people think about
me and my personality, then it will be helpful for me to boost my own self-motivation

The contradictions of self-motivation is that I am not able to get a good communication
with other members in my office and so that I don't feel free to easily share my thoughts and
visions as well as ideas to others within team. The lack of self-motivation brings inefficiency in
my work and also distract me to the goals which can I achieve easily. I also feel weak that I don't
even know how to apply self-motivation in my life on what stages it will help me to understood
the potential of my life.

Self-motivation will help me in many stages of my future life and in handling my office
team in proper manner. It will encourage me towards the work which is important or valuable in

for the achievement of victories and objectives of goals and targets(Murray, Rosanbalm,
Christopoulos, and Hamoudi, 2015). The three factors of developing personal skills are mental,
physical and spiritual which feed me talent. Physical development is to stay healthy and achieve
ambitions, spiritual area covers the inner strengths in me and I am mentally strong to take tough
decisions and facing the issues. Self promotion develop my self, creativeness improve my
personal skills and the innovation brings productivity. From all of this I am sure about my own
weakness and strengths. The three factors which improve time management, stress management
and self motivation are (managing time with efficiency), (controlling on anger and anxiety) and
(not to get depressed with increasing the level of self motivation). The ways from which these all
skills can be improved is to manage a strict time for the works. Meditation and yoga for control
the anger in me which help to run a good blood circulation in me which also help me to take
stress free decisions and improve or develop my self motivation. I will not compare myself to
any other and try to develop my skills and reducing the weakness in me.

CONCLUSION
The conclusion of this report includes the time management, problem solving, stress
management and self motivation skills importance and their reflections towards the current
competent. We are also analysing the contradictions of these skills with the importance of these
skills in the future for an individual. The all skills are presented in a explained manner and
related to a individual person and his organisation.
