INTRODUCTION
Understanding self and others is a term which indicates necessary skills of an individual
which is used at the workplace. In fact, in this report, numerous skills are highlighted which I
have to use or require to improve so that I can handle or manage the work as well as know the
way to deal with different circumstances (Baron-Cohen, 2013). Therefore, by using various
approaches, a person may develop their self-awareness and off-course self-confidence. Apart
from that, in this assignment, reflective journal is also highlighted which is useful in improving
the learning of an individual. Along with this, it acts as an indispensable tool of enhancement of
skills as well as attributes. At last, SWOT analysis is used for analysing the strengths and
weaknesses.
TASK
Reflective journal: This journal is used by the students to maintain their personal records
for attaining better experience which may help them in the future. In fact, it helps in improving
self-understanding on the basis of observation on specific aspects for enhancing their learning
with distinct circumstances (Lombardo and Tager-Flusberg, 2013). Therefore, they can attain
their personal as well as professional goals and objectives within given time frame by completing
their tasks within minimum duration. Along with this, there are number of skills present in an
individual which are used by them in managing and controlling overall enterprise. Thus,
improvement in skills is very much effective for organization as well as employee’s working at
workplace. Therefore, I need to identify my core skills and attributes for managing the work in
an appropriate manner by considering relevant facts or figures.
Pro-forma of Communication skill
A great listener is also considered as a good writer. If an individual may listen properly and
effectively then they can easily remove the barriers faced by him. Communication skills always
show fluency of a person that how he/she is talking and expressing in front of organization.
Apart from this, it also helps in transferring relevant and accurate information and data without
any disruption (Baumeister, 2010). In addition to this, it is one of the effective methods of
creating a mutual understanding between supervisors and subordinates.
I am a very good listener and know the way to pass accurate information or data by maintaining

its quality in an appropriate manner which is used by the organization. Apart from this, one of
the major quality of mine is proper command over speaking as well as on writing skills which is
helpful in transmitting correct data to the right person within given time frame. Therefore,
message is relevant and very much appropriate which is interacted with them.
One of a major drawbacks of mine is that I don't how to write impressive content which may
influence by writing skills indirectly. Therefore, I want to overcome this problem for
completing my tasks and activities within minimum duration without facing any problem or
obstacle which may influence the success of a company. Instead of this, it also create a major
risk for me.

Leadership quality supports in establishing a strong position in the marketplace and
attaining set objective within given time frame. In fact, this aptitude helps in maintaining a
balance between objectives and goals (Brechwald and Prinstein, 2011). A pioneer needs to create
an effective communication between higher authority and lower level. Apart from this, leader is
a person who is liable for motivating their team members towards personal targets by increasing
their knowledge and skills.
Pioneers are the individuals who help in giving the best possible inspiration to their team
members. For enhancing the authority aptitude, I can utilize some administration hypothesis
which helps in accomplishing objectives by paying attention in a suitable way. Therefore, they

any issues and problems which may occur while running a business. Leadership skills help in
