Analytical and self refection skills

Introduction
 The present study has been made on my own skills and abilities and this reflects all the
requirements which are essential for me to consider while managing different aspects related
to my job roles.
 I have used a range of sources so as to analyze other's perception about my capability as a
leader.
 Further, I have stated the ways through which I keep myself engaged in learning activities.
 Lastly, I have conducted PEST analysis about the personal work environment.

Skills required to be developed to conduct business successfully in Australia
A range of skills should be developed by the person who has the responsibility to manage the entire business.
Hence, such prominent skills are discussed in the below section:
Management skills: The owner or manager of the business must have appropriate management skills so that
he can negociate all business processes in effectual manner. In terms of management skills, there must be
certain focus towards employee management as they are essential part of the business entity. Thus, if I
would get an opportunity to manage the business in Australia; then I would have to manage entire
business practices in effectual manner so that I can rule over the business.

Leadership skills: Further, I have to develop leadership skills so that I can lead the team in effectual manner
and this will also assist all the concerned people to reach towards organizational goals and objectives. I
should have the capability to make decisions for the team as per the authorities.
Marketing and resource management skills: Being a businessman, it is essential for the individual to
develop convincing power so as to make more sales and profitability. I have adequate skills so that I can
promote services of my business to different customer segments. I must utilize all the resources in
feasible way so that organizational capability can be encouraged.

Step 1 Gather evidence
I have used three different sources so as as to analyze the perception of others regarding my leadership skills
and competencies. All such sources are mentioned in the below scenario.
Family: My family members feel that I have leadership skills and I know how to manage people in effectual
manner. While discussing about my leadership capabilities, some of them (Mother, Father and Sister)
have stated that I am dominating in nature and I know how to get the work done through others. They
told me that due to suffice leadership style, I can meet all my personal as well as professional goals.

Friends: While conversing with my friends, I came to know that I h ave leading capability but
in order to work in the organization, I have to develop more potential. They told me that, I
need to work on my dominating skills because that might hamper interest of other followers.
I get angry frequently; therefore this might create issue while working with a team. My
friends told me that I should have patience so that I can work on anger management.
Team members: I work with numerous people and some of them are satiated with my
performance because they get right kind of directions from me. I delegate duties and
responsibilities in proper manner while helps my team to accomplish all the determined goals
in respective time period.

Use of different research methodology with each group
Interview for family: I have conducted formal interview with my family members so as to analyze their
views about my leadership capabilities. While conducting interview with them, I came to know that my
family members could help me more to develop appropriate skills in different domains.
Survey for friends: In order to derive opinions from my friends, I have conducted survey where in I took
advice on the basis of several questions which are mentioned in the below section. Hence, as per all such
questions, I came to find out all the areas where in should improve. I asked a few questions from them
and they rated me accordingly to the defined parameters.

noticed there expressions frequently. Doing such thing aid me to analyze if I am
