INTRODUCTION
As seen by the previously discussed project of the continued project, I have evaluated and
also it can be seen that to start a new career and that too in retail industry serves as of the great
opportunity. There is a great source of promotion and appraisal which will help the individual to
grow and pursue their career. The previous report was based on job description of retail industry
which was my interest and I want to start with it. It is apt for my competencies, learning,
experiences and other skills. This has resulted in increasing my competencies and enhanced my
knowledge so that my job profile is enhanced and I am able to flourish my career. The report
serves as of the importance that I am not in difficulty to complete that project. Just after the
pandemic I found myself in a little bit work pressure as government has generated many
guidelines make it compulsory to deliver with proper hygiene and sanitisation (Bhalla and
Frigerio 2020) . This report is a personal analysis of the skills which are needed to perform the
duties. On the basis of such personal skills it is necessitated to prepare a career action plan which
will result in helping in both personal development as well as specific career related activities.
Also a CV is prepared to apply for the job according to the description and a LinkedIn profile
which will be based on the current scenario.

Personal Analysis
After examining the Job advertisement I evaluated that it is very significant to analyse
and study the personal skills so that it is possible to apply for the post of salesperson in retail
industry. The job post is related with my previous job where I was working as delivery boy.
There are a list of tasks and duties which are prescribed for the job post and a knowledge of tools
and activities which are related to the job post. I have experience of delivering products from the
store itself and many a times explaining what are the uses of it and how it can be used in future. I
have an enhanced communication skills which helped me in my previous job to maintain better
and healthy relations in my previous employment. I worked as a very well-mannered person who
was able to handle clients and also can effectively communicate to the consumers and resolve
their queries. It is said to be needed in such a manner that all the required criteria are met and the
job position is easily served (Brewer 2020). There are a set of rules which are required by the

sales person to follow and abide by in a given and desired time frame. Looking to the situation of
COVID- 19 there are many guidelines which the salesperson should follow to prevent the
outspread. Being a hard worker person I am well aware of the value for time which will result in
efficiency and effectiveness of the project so that the organisation can succeed and flourish. I am
the person who is competent enough to manage and divide work according to the situation as
arises. I value time and work in a desired manner so that time is completed in a given manner.
Along with this I possess the multi tasking skills which enables me to complete the tasks
assigned easily and quickly. Also I am capable of working in Night shifts where consumers come
and place their orders for food items or the essential items which are needed in emergency. I
have the skills to cope up with the trauma that is caused because of staying awakened in might
like, stress, anxiety, depression and others. For this I practice yoga and meditate so that the stress
is managed and controlled. Being at initial stage this career will be giving my growth a proper
shape and will assist in making me achieving good targets. If analysed personally, I am person
who is qualified for the post having essential qualification and skills which are required for the
post.

Multitasking Skills To work in a different
and new environment
it is needed to work

make an individual
perform more than one
task at a time. This is
called multi tasking
which facilitates easy
completion of task.
If the instructions of
the boss or supervisor
is followed and
listened very carefully
then only it is possible
for me to be able for
multitasking activities.
Taking part in day to
day activities helps me
to gather experience of
various kinds of works
and improve my
efficiency and
effectiveness so that I
can be a multitasker
(MacKinnon 2020) .
Also there is a need of the action plan which will be helping an individual and also an
employee to frame a set of proper guideline which will make efforts to develop necessary skills
in the individuals. It is required to measure up for the needed job. It is necessary to prepare a
plan of action or an action plan which will support in examining the actions and can work for
improving the skills and competencies that work for development of the career and bringing
personal as well as professional development. This will help the employee sustain the retail
industry as well.

Curriculum vitae is a tool that works in supporting an individual or an employee to serve
with the required facts and figures with the needed companies and organisations which will
generate a lot of jobs opportunities that will serve in gathering an enhanced career and a
flourished goodwill (Maree 2020). In the same way it can also be said that that Curriculum Vitae
will be helpful in attaining and applying to apply for the job in retail industry as a salesperson
working in parts as a night shift and also in day shifts. It contains my various information related

CONCLUSION
From the above studied project it can be analysed that it is very significant for the
individuals and employees to examine and admit the personal capabilities so that any and every
job profile can be achieved and targeted. The personal analysis will help in determining the
strengths and weaknesses along with the threats and opportunities that will make the career
action plan more effective and enhanced so that the career can flourish and grow. By properly
following and executing the action plan I will be able to improve and enhance all my skills
which I can be taken into consideration in my CV so that desirable job is achieved.
