I have prepared a presentation of sales management and marketing based on one of the
company of UK name XYZ solution ltd. In this presentation, I have selected product
development strategy of expansion in which I have stated that the company will launch its new
software “Transaction” for target customers accounting firms, big companies etc. During this
presentation, I have faced a lots of difficulty such as lack of researching and writing skill along
with how to imply marketing mix, STP analysis tools within the business to make it more real.
But on the other hand, I am able to complete it on time because of the cooperation among the
assignment group people. My other group members are quite supportive which helps me in
analysing and writing each factor of the marketing mix. For example, in product factor of
marketing mix my colleagues have teach me that we have to select those products which are
highly in demand. In this way, I have selected Transaction software because this helps the
companies in recording the day to day transaction over digital platforms. Beside this, the
presentation has provided me chance to use my skill such as critical thinking, presentation and
communication in best manner possible (Chang, 2019).
During the whole assignment, I have always available to my other group members and
communicate the facts and figures I have identified for the assignment. With the help of this
presentation, I am able to interact with the people and freely share my thoughts with them. This
presentation has also helped me in concentrating at single work at a single point of time which
was one of my weakness in the past. It means I faces difficulty in concentrating at work because
of various other distractions. Further, on the basis of presentation and assignment preparation, I
have found out that my weakest point is that I have poor leadership skill along with the active
listening skills. I am able to communicate my thoughts to other but when it come on my turn I
face difficulty in actively and sincerely listening to others (Lei and Chen, 2021). The impact of
which my group assignment has highly affects via personal conflicts. Further, I also face
difficulty in leading others and telling them what is good and bad for the project. My lack of
skills has affected my presentation.
Thus, in order to improve leadership and active listening skills in myself I will use the
personal development plan. I will make eye contact while listening to others and will also
practice active listening so that in further when I will get group assignment I am able to
cooperate with my other team members. Further, I will practice discipline, take more and more

projects in order to develop leadership skill in myself (Cragg, 2021). Lastly, the overall
presentation of marketing and sales management was quite well but there is some area where I
need focus and further development in order to resolve conflicts and make my future projects
best.
