INTRODUCTION
Recruitment, selection and induction is considered as most important activities conducted
by human resource department of any organization. These activities help in making sure that
human resource that is trained are readily available in the staff of the organization to meet
organizational objectives and goals.
MCS Security Company is currently looking forward for appointing a senior security
officer which is a new post for their new facility. This study will discuss in brief about
recruitment, selection and induction of the position and how personnel are acquired.

REFERENCE CHECKS
At the interview first step, ask your applicants for referee details and get their permission to
contact them. Referees are usually past or current employers of the applicant, but they can
also be anyone who is able to provide details about the person’s character, education or
suitability for the job. Be aware that some applicants may be reluctant to have their current
employer know that they are applying for another job.

Use the information that you’ve collated during the reference check, as well as their
