algorithm is responsible for analyzing the most searched amount of websites in the internet and

matters regarding the privacy policies of search engine optimization as the BIG DATA produced
by the search engine could be accessed (Luh, Yang and Huang 2016). The following essay

search engine optimization.
There are many high ends search engines that is accessed all around the globe and also
rules the internet. Some of the top search engines are – Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask.com and
Baidu. People uses these search engines to access the internet. They could search about anything
in the search engines which allows them to access the different websites in the internet (Baye et
al. 2016). The data that is searched by the users are to be secured and not to be accessed by
anyone as it is the responsibility of these companies to protect the data and the privacy of their
users. The internet is a place with unlimited resources and possibilities and the things that are
searched by the users are strictly personal, and is needed to be protected by these organizations
(Palanisamy and Liu 2018.). The users should feel safe while accessing the search engines. They

After the arrival of the social networking sites that people uses to connect with one
another, the applications have the personal details about their all user. Search engines helps them
in entering the sites and they also have the access to these social networking sites. There are
issues that have been raised against the concerns related to the privacy of social networking

There have been many controversies related to the search engine optimization. One of
latest controversies that have raised regarding the search engine tycoon Google (Google.com
2019). CEO of the organization, Sundar Pichai was asked by the congress of the United States of
America for providing a testimony regarding the activities of Google in monitoring the
movement of their users and also regarding the collection of privacy data of the users (Ledford
2015). The lawmakers were accusing the organization for data manipulation and collection of
privacy data of the users and also tracking the movement of the users that have linked there
smart phones with the search engine application. It is said that Google have been collecting the
privacy data of their users by ranking their most searched options in the internet and selling them
to advertisement companies for further uses. These data is used by the organizations for
productions of advertisements by soring the products available in the le websites that they have
visited (Rutz and Bucklin 2016). These have been considered as a major misuse of the personal
data that have been generated by the users in the search engines. Google have also been accused

was designed for helping the GPS application regarding the location of the user. Instead of that,
if the location application is on, Google would be tracking the movement of their users; like
places they are visiting frequently. Thus, these numerous amount of data’s are being stored in the
system of the Google which they have been accused of misusing. These kind of privacy data
manipulation is considered as unethical.
Thus, the essay could be conclude by providing a brief overview on the privacy data
monitoring of the search engine optimizations’ organization’s like Google and other social
networking sites. There have been many records of accusations that have been placed over these
search engines for the manipulation of data and storing and stealing the privacy of their users.
These kind of activities are unethical as human beings are entitled of having their own personal
spaces and personal agendas for accessing the internet of their own will.
