The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the significant factor in digital media, which helps
in getting the traffic from the natural, free, editorial or organic searching results in the various
search engines. It is the process, which affects the visibility of webpage. The website that
ranked highest in the searching results list has been approached by many visitors with the
help of search engine, which the user access and the SEO have to make sure that the site must
be accessible in the search engine. Search engine are basically the programs, which are used
to search the documents with the help of specified keywords and in revert the user gets the
documents list in which the inserted keyword found by the user (Smart Inside , 2019).
Additionally, the search engine is only place, which enable the user to search its requirements
of the documents on WWW (World Wide Web), where he gets all the relevant search results.
The SEO is the valuable part of Digital Media Industry as it enhances the digitized content of
the websites. All the digital media information such as digital images, online portals, audio,
videos and online purchasing are the elements that are led down by the website, which are
influenced by the search engine optimization. Hence, the SEO plays an important role in
digital media industry.
To understand the role of SEO, first point needs to be considered is the habit of the user of
using the internet browser. When the user wants to pull out some information from the
internet, the individual will access the search engine, as it is the easiest and the fastest way to
obtain the required information. While searching the result, the individual gets the results
displayed and the user would select the first option because it will contain the most relevant
information as per the requirement because generally the user as compare to the other
websites mostly accesses the website at the top of the page (Search Engine Land, 2018). The
role of the SEO is to give the top position to the website by optimizing it and helps the

In today’s techno savvy era, the SEO plays most significant role for all the kinds of
Businesses especially if the companies want to do the Digital marketing for the goods and
services they offered, the SEO aspect is the compulsory for the company’s website. In digital
marketing, the search engine optimization plays an important role as it makes thee webpage
easy to find for the user, which helps in increasing the reach of customers to the company’s
website and makes the increase in the profitability of the business. Thus, the SEO is
considered as the integral part of digital marketing strategy (Forbes , 2019). Therefore, SEO
is one of the trends, which can help in future development in the digital media industry. In

the products and services. As it can be seen that the SEO changes the mindset of the society,
so it is the important aspect for the digital media industry as it also helps the industry to have
an enormous growth in future.

consumer use the different websites to do various kinds of work. For example, when the
customer wants to purchase the clothes they seeks opinions from various websites especially
which they find at the top of the webpage and then they view the full details of the product,
which helps them to fulfil their requirements (Medium , 2019). It can be observed that the
impact of the SEO on the website is highly considerable as it makes the website to be at the
top on the web page, which ultimately helps the company to increase its profitability as the
consumer get influenced with this factor. As per the well-known company, Accenture
estimated that 94% of B2B consumers said that they do online searching before buying the
products (Accenture, 2019). Therefore, it is important for the companies to do the digital
marketing and maintain the SEO, so that the company’s website ranked on the top position
and helps the company for the further development.
In the case of branding the product in this digital era, the SEO branding helps in building the
recognition and maintains the trust of the customers on the company. It can also help the
business in finding the investors by getting the top position on the webpage. If the company
wants to build the strong brand name in the existing market, the company needs work on the
SEO to enhance the promotion with the help of digital marketing, which will leads to have
high traffic on the website and improve the brand image of the product and services offered
by the company (Smith, 2018).

marketing team of the famous companies includes the SEO tactics in core business as for as it
is the part of digital marketing of the Business.
The Search engine optimisation helps in various fields of digital media industry such as social
media marketing, content strategy, web developer, brand mention, paid search, and
conversion (Search Engine Journal, 2017). All the social media programs have to adopt the
SEO strategy in order to achieve the good position in the search engines. The content strategy
is depending on the SEO, as it will helps in defining the strong content strategy. The paid
search teams collaborate with the SEO team to enhance the position of the company on the
digital platforms. The SEO also helps the Web developers in speed optimization, technical
