Organization environment and evaluate its preparedness for virtualization
Clod computing and virtualizations are interrelated to each other and shared the same
modules over the web for data storage. Both the applications sound similar but inherently
different from each other. In this paper, I am going to discuss Butler America and how they
develop different platforms for cloud computing and virtualization. Butler America is the
fastest-growing company and believes in providing the best quality services for valuable
clients and customers. The primary stream of this industry is engineering services, and
headquarter is located in Connecticut, United States (Rashid & Chaturvedi, 2019).
Virtualization refers to the creation of virtual resources so that organizations can
prevent the cost of maintaining the separate infrastructure for data storage. Virtualization
helps the companies to store the large data sets in the virtual servers and access it as per the
needs and requirements of the business. Butler America provides all the engineering services
and ensures that they should maintain the quality to satisfy the end-users. Virtualization
offers the best benefits to the company so that they can handle the space constraint issues and
store the entire data over the web servers (Xing & Zhan, 2012).
Benefits of Virtualization
a) Reduce the capital budgeting expenditure for the companies
b) Handle the critical business infrastructure
c) Gives the more significant business continuity plans
d) Provide data center facilities for the organizations

also install LAN upgrades for the Virtualization software. This company also gathers the
accurate information required for the virtualization software that will be used in the cloud

computing platform. A contingency plan is another preparedness program necessary for the
virtualization so that the company can face the disasters or any other uncertain incidents.
Preparedness for virtualization is not an easy challenge because companies should handle all
the updates and applications needed for Virtualization, and companies also ensure that they
should have proper Back-Up and Disaster Recovery Strategy (Lombardi & DiPietro, 2011).
In the digital business world, organizations, including all the sizes, are relying on
cloud computing applications so that they can improve business effectiveness. The primary
objective of these functions reduces the space constraint issues and provide the flexibility to
the companies so that they can operate the business functions with the help of remote
networks. Virtualization ensures that organizations should utilize all the resources effectively
and increase the overall profits by the end of the day. With the maximum utilization of
business resources, companies can experience the unique benefits with the help of cloud
computing and virtualizations (Jeong, Park, & Kang, 2015).
Microsoft licensing for a virtualized environment
Windows Server 2016 is the best Microsoft Licensing for a virtual environment that is
capable of storing the complex and vulnerable business files in the servers and securing the
data from uncertain and unplanned incidents (Jeong et al., 2015).
For all the Windows Server 2016 applications, companies need a minimum of 32GB
data storage along with 2 GB for a few Server with Desktop Experience Installation Option.
Butler America ensures that they should provide enough space to install all the updates and
other necessary files and folders to avoid uncertain incidents and other unplanned issues
(Vishwakarma & Kumar, 2019).
Benefits of Windows Server 2016

a) Enable the hoster to build the public files
b) Manage all the complex data sets
c) Prevent the uncertain and unplanned incidents
d) Provide end to end encryption service for the information security
e) Provide customer satisfaction
Configuration for Shared Storage
Cloud computing is a relatively new technology today which provides unique benefits
to the organizations and deals with complex data sets and other vulnerable business files.
Cloud computing and virtualization playing a crucial role today not only in providing the best
data storage options but also helps in increasing the overall productivity with the accessibility
and flexible operations. From the company’s point of view, I would like to recommend
Hyper-V Storage which is the best practice, and configuration for the shared storage, which is
the kind of storage that provides greater accessibility and flexibility methods of storage
connectivity and configuration (Pogarcic, Krnjak, & Ozanic, 2012).
Hyper-V Storage uses many forms for the data storage connectivity and configuration
so that it avoids the data redundancy and biggest security challenge for the critical data sets.
The best part of this software application is flexible and cost-effective methods so that even
small business owners can utilize these settings for data storage. The main feature of these
configuration settings is provided solid storage configuration practices for the business
(Pogarcic et al., 2012).
Butler America uses virtualization so that they can create virtual versions of the
operating systems and data storage and also minimize the various issues related to the data
storage. The following are the pros and cons of Hyper-V Storage.

Benefits of recommending Hyper-V for shared storage
a) Relatively cheaper and cost-effective than VMware
b) Allow the users to run multiple VMs at one time with the help of dynamic
memory (Hashizume, Rosado, & Fernández-Medina, 2013).
c) Low maintain issues and prevent downtime
d) Companies can easily migrate
e) Secure back-ups and quickly recover from the disasters and uncertain incidents
f) Provide comprehensive security approaches for the companies so that they can
protect the vulnerable business files and folders (Hashizume et al., 2013).
g) Follows active directory
Challenges of Hyper-V for shared storage
a) Most of the users are reporting the poor support for Linux operating systems
b) Requires all VMs to be taken offline for a reboot
c) Some users not liking the extremely minimalist administrator interface services
d) Provide only one user report to interact with the host operating system
Hyper-V shared storage has several challenges, which may restrict the growth of the
business, but service providers can manage those challenges and provides flexibility to
critical business operations.
Windows Azure capabilities for virtual machines and managing a hybrid cloud
Windows Azure is one of the types of on-demand scalable computing resources that
Azure offers for the companies so that they keep control over the computing environment.
Virtualization provides more significant benefits to the companies, primarily to manage the
large data files over the virtual servers and minimize various issues. Most of the small scale

business owners prefer Windows Azure so that they can experience the flexibility of
virtualization without buying nay physical hardware components which not only save the cost
but also save the installation-related issues (Khan & Nusratullah, 2015).
Windows Azure is also capable of handling the hybrid cloud, which is the
combination of public or private clouds. Companies can use Azure virtual machines in
different ways so that they can get flexible operations without spending a considerable
amount. The following are some common ways to use Azure Virtual Machines.
a) Development and test
b) Applications in the cloud platform
c) Extended datacentre
Windows Azure capabilities also deal with the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS),
which a form of cloud computing network and provides unique benefits to the companies
over the virtual networks. IaaS which is one of the three essential computing resources over
the internet which deals with data storage (Jeong et al., 2015).
