What external communication strategies have you helped to develop, between your
organisation and its stakeholders?
In an organization, communication plays an important role. Starting from the conflicts
between the employees to smaller issues in the organization can be avoided with proper
communication techniques (Nguyen, Chileshe, Rameezdeen & Wood, 2019). Some of the
external communication techniques that can improve the operations between the organization
and the stakeholders are given below:
Knowing the audiences: It is important to understand the language of the audiences. The
priority of the consumers must be taken under consideration along with the shareholders,
partners and influencers, all plays an important role as an audience to the organization.
Choosing the right platform: With the advancement of the digital media, the clients,
consumers, shareholders and many of the stakeholders are active over the social media.
Thus communication over the social media is one of the most effective way now a days.
Delivering real Value: One of the most important stakeholder of any business is customer
who believes in real product rather than just hoax that are developed by the companies
(Costa-Sánchez & Baró, 2019).
Listening and responding accordingly: communicating with all stakeholders helps in
resolving conflicts and enhancing the organizational infrastructure. Understanding the
demands of the individuals and generating responses accordingly is effective in
improvement of relationship between the stakeholders and organization.
Development of the newsletters: Newsletter is an effective way to let the stakeholders
know what the organization is planning on. It is a unique way to convey the new
technologies or the upcoming planning and programs of the company to its stakeholders.
