Business report
During module, different aspects were taught such as service marketing mix, service package,
product life cycle, and Servicescape. It is learned that the variable in the marketing mix is
integration about four controllable variables implemented through Regents park resort. It is
pointed that the resort blends these variables for developing a mix, which exceptionally meets
the requirements of clients to reach an accommodation as well as restaurant facilities. It has
become a long-term strategy, which makes sure the company is obtaining future competitive
benefits as well as, sustainability. This knowledge could be utilized in the future in order to
obtain competitive benefits.
The module has covered some ideas about the service package. In this way, it is observed that
service package indicates the integration of products as well as services with particular data,
which is offered in the same kind of atmosphere. It is also pointed out that service packages
contain five features like facilitating products, supporting services, implicit and explicit facilities,
and offering goods. It could be applied in the future at the workplace.
The module has developed knowledge about product life cycle, which indicates every product
have a life cycle and it initiates with the development of products while firm addresses and
creates new product ideas. It is identified that in the introduction period of the product, sale
growth is declining. Furthermore, it is pointed that growth is a phase of rapid market acceptance
as well as, gaining profits and then the next phase is the maturity period when sales growth is
increasing. It is observed that servicescape is related to physical layout, appearances as well as
demonstrating the evidence that a customer may practice creating an impression. This
understanding would be applied in the future.
