INTRODUCTION
Healthcare environment is a branch of public health that deals with building an environment
that affects the human health in a positive way. On other hand it can be stated as protecting and
safeguarding health so that it is beneficial to the ecosystem. Many aspects of human health are
determined by environmental factors which have the potential of affecting the health in both
positive and negative manner. The healthcare environment specifically deals with both direct
pathological affect of various chemicals and physiological affects on health and well-being of
different individuals (Al Ameen, Liu and Kwak, 2012).
The report will mainly focus on role of healthcare manager and administrator in delivering
effective care services to the service users. It will also include the individual perspectives of all the
stakeholders associated with Seven Kings residential care home. Application of models and
different types of theories will also be analysed in the study son that different types of
environmental issues can be resolved in healthcare environment.

The managing or administrating official in Seven Kings residential care home is responsible
for delivering effective quality care services to all the service users and patients present in the care
home. The main aspect of manager in healthcare department is to select and hire candidates who
can provide efficient care and attention to all the elderly citizens. There are many other factors
which are controlled by managerial department of healthcare (Frey and et.al., 2014). Controlling
financial department, identifying the demands and needs of service users, and allotment of various
types of resources to the healthcare professionals is maintained by manager of Seven Kings
residential care home. Based on age, gender and health factors the demands and requirements of all
the patient varies, hence, it is very important for associated staff and health professionals to develop
a good bonding and relationship with the service users so that the are able to effectively
communicate their desires and requirements. With changing healthcare environment and conditions
it is very important for healthcare organisations to decide what all necessary things are required so
that better quality care services are provided to patients encountering different diseases (Dozier,
Grunig and Grunig, 2013).
Healthcare manager of Seven Kings residential care home should be completely aware of al
the advancement in technologies so that the organisation can keep its surgical and medical
equipments up to date to avoid any risk and errors. As this care home basically handles elderly
citizens it is the main responsibility of staff and recruitment officials to select candidates who are

capable of support them at each and every step. Generally it is noticed that with growing age and
changing conditions the older citizens tends to change their behaviour very often. In such cases all
the healthcare officials who are appointed to take care of them should handle them very patiently so
that they do not feel unnoticed. Seven Kings residential care home should appoint expertise nursing
staff, a group of physicians, doctors, surgeons and pharmacist so that they are able to furnish best
quality services to all the old age people in the care home (Oleske, 2014). Apart from delivering
effective care services to all the service users, it is also the responsibility of hospital staff and
managerial department to protect and safeguards all the members and patients from different types
of harm and danger. There are many types of harms, abuses and dangers present in workplace which
should be mitigated in order to provide safe and secure healthcare services to all the individuals
present in hospitals and other care services (Ickin and et.al., 2012). Physical, mental, emotional and
social abuse are the most prevailing abuse that exist in healthcare. Patients who suffers from various
mental disabilities are more prone to such types of abuses because they are incapable of understand
different types of activities which is provided to them. Hence it is very necessary to develop
effective healthcare legislation and and policies so that all the people are safeguarded equally.
Policies and codes of conduct should be designed in accordance with several state and federal rules
so that all the individuals are able to comply with them (Valentine, Nembhard and Edmondson,
2015).

Stakeholders are individuals or group of individuals who are directly or indirectly associated

accounts and financial departments. For delivering and collecting different types of samples and
equipment from the care home and for developing different types of legislations and policies for
proper and effective working of healthcare organisations (Claxton,Stoddart and Torrance, 2015).

stakeholders are associated with the organisation in different ways and have various roles and
responsibilities accordingly. The main aim of stakeholders is to gather information from the target
group so that they are able to develop strategies and plans for various ongoing projects in healthcare
department. Generally internal stakeholders are engaged in coordinating, funding and resourcing so
that they are able to work in partnership (Stakeholder interests, 2016). The main role of external
stakeholders is to develop different types of views and opinions which are beneficial for patients,
service users, community people and all the individuals who are associated with Seven Kings
residential care home (Manary and et.al., 2013).
Internal stakeholders can be director of Seven Kings residential care home, director of
nursing, officials who develops strategies, research scientists, analysts, managers, trustees and

members of board committee members. Individuals who are considered as external stakeholders can
be local authority council, providers of different types of service, patients, service users, buyers,
suppliers, finance funding authorities, healthcare workforce and people who determine the quality
of services provided to different persons. Different stakeholders have perspectives according to their
duties and roles present in the healthcare organisation (Snape, Rawcliffe and Popay, 2015). They
have higher influence on the functioning of Seven Kings residential care home hence it is very
important to establish an effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders so that goals
and objectives are achieved. Internal stakeholders are equipped with different powers so that they
are able to maintain their position and authorities in Seven Kings residential care home. It also
helps in developing a hierarchy in the organisation (Bambra and Gibson, 2016). The another
perspective of internal stakeholders is to develop effective leadership in the healthcare services so
that they are able to control and coordinate all the activities and functions which are taking place in

(Shi and Singh, 2015). Local authority and people in healthcare council have the power to manage
activities related to finance and accounts, labour, staff and resource allocation and allotment. For
increasing their reputation and service both the types of stakeholders also maintain various
networking in healthcare field so that effective growth and development takes place in Seven Kings
residential care home (Bhattarai, 2015).
Factors that influence the achievement of quality in organisation
The most important aim of Seven Kings residential care home is to provide best quality care
services to all the service users so that they are able to recover fast from their illness and diseases.
For delivering the care services in best possible way it is very important to evaluate the

condition and spends their life on pension (Bhattarai, 2015).
Social:
 Care home provides training to its healthcare professionals for improving their
communication and interpersonal skills. With the help of this, care workers are capable
enough to maintain good and effective relations with the clients.
 Polite and courteous language is used by the nurses for maintaining the dignity and respect
of the old people (Snape, Rawcliffe and Popay, 2015). Culture of the environment is properly maintained by the social care firm for maintaining
and managing the effective relations among the employees, care workers and nurses.
Technological
 With the help various techniques such as Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)
and Enterprise resource planning (ERP), Seven Kings is managing its work and relations
with the patients.
 Different devices are provided by the care home to the elders suffering from hearing and
visual problems. These include Braille language, hearing aids, etc (Fleishman, Alerding and
Delp, 2015).
 All the data and information of the employees and clients is stored by the social care
organisation in the system which helps in keeping all the information safe and secure.

CONCLUSION
The overall report is based on healthcare environment which is referred as maintaining the
environment which improves the health and well-being of all the individuals present in the
community. The study also included roles and responsibilities of healthcare manager which is
necessary to provide effective quality care services to all the people. Different perspectives of
internal and external stakeholders were also analysed which play an important role in delivering
quality care services to old age citizens in Seven Kings residential care home. Factors and various
components which are responsible for enhancing the services will also be discussed in the report.
Lastly the study will be conclude with various models and theories which are utilizes in analysing
the environment which is most suitable for providing healthcare services to all the service users.
