home for elderly citizens so that the environmental issues present in the care home can be identified
effectively.

necessary for all the staff members to provide full attention and protection to them.
Although majority of individuals present in the care home are not mentally and physically
disabled but 20% of them are mentally challenged (Banfield and Kay,2012).
Due to the age factor of the geriatric patients they demand more attention and care as
compared to patients of younger generations.
Majority of patients present in the Seven King's residential care home are above the age of
65 years hence it is the duty of all health professionals and staff members to provide best
quality healthcare services to them so that all the geriatric patients are satisfied (Oleske,
2014).

residential homes should implement different strategies and plans so that other individuals
are not affected by them.

Due to the increased cases of dementia and other mental illness in elderly people it has
become very difficult for the care home to deliver effective care services to all the patients. There are many cases of hospital based infections reported in Seven King's residential care
home which is responsible for declining the growth and reputation of the department
(Zwerling and et.al., 2012).
Ethical and Legal
It is very important for Seven King's residential care home to maintain proper ethical and
legal considerations so that the environment for providing healthcare services is positive
and productive.
All the partners who are linked with the particular healthcare department should share all
the information and personal data in accordance with the legislations and ethics of
healthcare. This can help in maintaining the confidentiality of all the agencies (Hartzler and
et.al., 2013).
Legal framework and care assessment is planned by Seven King's residential care home so
that healthcare officials can provide effective and best quality care services to all the elderly
patients.

unequally on the basis of caste, creed, gender and religion (Banfield and Kay,2012). In order to maintain a healthy and flourishing environment the Seven King's residential

excluded from the society and are treated equally.

who are providing health services to patients (Ickin and et.al., 2012).
In Seven King's residential care home the elderly patients requires more attention and care
which directly increases the cost of the residential home. Also it has been observed that
elderly patients who are pensioners are economically backward in their economical status.
Hence, it is very necessary for Seven King's residential care home to arrange effective
financial resources in order to support the elderly people with appropriate care.
If the government has announced any indicators of poverty associated with caring of
elderly citizens then the residential home should take care of it in proper manner (Manary
and et.al., 2013).
Social
Social factors are also very important for successfully conducting environmental analysis in
any organisation. Significant number of elderly individuals who are admitted in Seven
King's residential care home are not able to perform daily activity on their own.
This leads to employment of more number of healthcare professionals for providing services
to them. With change in lifestyles and living patterns more care and services are expected
from carers and service users in healthcare department (Dozier, Grunig and Grunig, 2013).
For fulfilling these needs it is necessary for Seven King's residential care home to appoint
more staff members so that maximum customer satisfaction is achieved.

increased awareness for abuse regarding elder people so that they are not abused in any form
(Oleske, 2014).

care home.

times. It has created more awareness and monitoring in elderly individuals so that better
healthcare services are provided to them (Hagger and et.al., 2016).
Through different technologies all the staff members are easily able to maintain record,

medical and family history of all the patients which are admitted in Seven King's
residential care home.
Data and information exchange between all the agencies have enhanced because of
technological improvisation (Frey and et.al., 2014).
