The concept of the sexism is basically an ideology regrading oppression that is similar to
the concept of racism. Sexism is the set of the nature and the social attitudes dependable on the
fundamental belief that women belongs to the inferior section of the society (Unit, 2016). As per
the historical concept, the context of sexism is same that of a daily life. The essay argues to

Since the historical event that took place, Women Rights had been an essential topic for
debate. The growth and the advancement of the rights of the women varies from one country to
another. In many of the nations, thought there lies varied geographical and cultural differences
women still claim for their voting rights. In the year 1994, around the globe within ten countries
women were the head of the government. However, in more than 100 countries none of the
female members was there who used to serve the legislative bodies. Although the presence of
discussion regarding the equal rights of men and women within the workplace, the feminie
gender had been constituting more than 70 per cent of the world’s poverty.
According to the survey, as conducted by Benton-Greig, Gamage & Gavey (2018),
within the region of UK only 8 per cent of the women can hold a position in the top managerial
position.
Within each year, although the number of women who enters into the world of higher
education and within the university seems to be increasing in terms of quantity, the gap that

exists within the gender traits has risen enormously in the recent times. From the time of the
historic period, the feminine gender has always been the disadvantaged gender. According to ()

makes up about globe’s two third of the adults who are illiterate. Though the rate of the women

gap between the two gender in the recent years.
Some of the exciting fact that exists in the present era of the globalisation is the women’s
greatest achievement resulting from their reproductive rights. Among the various nations, within
recent times the act of abortion has also been made legal. Moreover, women’s tend to possess a
broad scope of preventive measure and cures such as the birth control pills (Serano, 2016).
However, this particular area of focus has been a topic of middle point of debate.
Within the region of the United States boundaries, the activities in terms of sexism have
started to gain much of the actions in the era of the early 19th century. Moreover, the country has
been introduced with the concept of revivalism, which has motivated the women of the middle
class for participating in the evangelical societies to create moral and social reform.
Within the country, much of the women were furthermore involved in the activity for the
eradication of the slavery which is directly connected to the organizations in the target for the
achievement for the rights of women.

time, the feminine gender has been successfully able to increase their share in terms of
employment fee structure. Within the current trend, women’s has been able to claim for an
increase in the percentage of their employee pay structure (Lacey, 2016).
However there takes place some protests, policies and employment regulation
implementation for the equal rights of the women. It is addressed as balanced and fair play
practice. However, the context in terms of employment is still divided according to a horizontal
and vertical basis. However, men even recognise their position within the main body of the
workers and the high paid workers status.
However, taking into consideration the modern era where men have been giving much of
their effort towards the care of the child but the women is still the primary caretaking body of the
child (Brown, 2018). Despite the various policy and the occurrence of gender inequality within
the economy because of the political, social and cultural issues (Nussbaum, 2017). There exist
some conflicts that require attention.
Some of the policy regarding the different issue of sexism within current era includes the
division of domestic labour, media, ceiling glass, the social inequality and the violence that take

place against women’s of the society. Policies have been introduced and implemented for the
abolition of discriminating from the male gender. There exists no effort for implementing these
policies directly or indirectly.
Labour class society is being criticised; media has been playing a vital role to bring out gender
inequality. Women’s of the community should be given equal importance; they occupy the same
position as compared to that of the men.
They deserve to stand within the same view as that of men. However, women in our
society are not given any importance because of sexual racism; they are being violated of their
status continuously.
Regarding the practice of sexism within the political background, it is essential to
undertake steps for the improvement of females who are involved in the governmental bodies,
the government.

To eliminate gender inequality and to obtain gender equality, there is an immense need to
reverse the perception of macro-economic policy (Saravanan, 2018).
The policies regarding the gender-sensitive macroeconomics are mandatory for inclusive
and sustainable development. The current policies of the concept of sexism have great adverse
towards the effect on the right of the women who belongs to the ethnic minority and low income
group. However, as per the personal glimpse, it is essential for the economy of the state to
declare gender equality so that they can serve as agents for socio-economic development and
sustainability through out the world (Eklund, 2016).

Furthermore it is essential to understand that without the empowerment of the feminine
gender and the promotion of gender equality, the countries will not be able to achieve the UN
Millennium Development Goals as enshrined by the United Nations. Improvement of the
regulations and the policies should be ensured by all the government of the country in the light of
abiding by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the Convention on the
Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). I personally feel that it
is important to agree to the terms of eradicating the discrimination against women since it is the
central towards fulfilling the basic human rights. The education and the vocational training of the
women who lives in the rural part of the globe is also important for breaking the continuous
cycle of poverty and illiteracy among the women gender.
Conclusion
The concept of sexism in the present day is an invincible obstacle despite of the
collective achievements of the past. It has continued to be a challenge for the women gender in
their personal and professional life. These challenges and issues relates to the marginalisation
and discrimination of women. The lack of proper implementation of the legislations and the
governmental policy are some of the major factors contributing to the increasing gap among the
women and their inalienable rights. The essay explained the concepts related to sexism, its
