INTRODUCTION
In this era of modern times, there is a significance relationship n between sexting and
self-esteem of a person. This project is based on efficient relationship in between self-esteem and
sexting. Sexting is a concept which involves sexually explicit messages to be sent, received and
forwarded from one person to another person. In this light, it can also be said that there are
various ways and techniques, which are used in relation to convey messages to another person.
These includes mobile phones, computers and any other digital device. On the other hand, self-
esteem is a term which signifies reflection of overall subjective evaluation of emotions of her or
his own worth (Aydin, S. 2012). Also it is the best medium to encompasses beliefs of one person
and emotional states as well. so, it can be evaluated that there is a great relationship in between
sexting and self-esteem. This present report basically focuses on to analysis of effective
relationship of sexting and self-esteem. It is also affected by increased evolvement of
information technology. Also, the ways and manners, in which sexting affects self-esteem of a
person is also considered. In this present project, various aspects have been considered like
research design., approaches data collection method and data analysis techniques.
AIMS
Aim: To identify and understand the relationship in between Sexting and Self-Esteem of
a person.
Objectives: The main objectives of conducting this approach can be evaluated as:
To identify impact of sexting on youngsters and teenagers.
To understand the relationship in between self-esteem and sexting.
To evaluate the variation in self-reported sexting behaviours and self-esteem level.
Research questions: The main questions that can be framed in aspect of this research
can be summarised as:
What is an impact of sexting on young generation and Self-esteem?
What is a relationship pf sexting and self –esteem?
To assess variation among self-reported sexting behaviours and self-esteem levels?

In this modern times, it has been evaluated that sexting is increasing its value day by day,
among teenagers and adults. It is an activity which is related with sending and conveying
messages related with sexual implications, from one to another person (Dir, A. L., Cyders, M.
A., & Coskunpinar, A. 2013). It can also be evaluated that it is an act of transmission of images
in between two romantic partners. Self-esteem is another issue which is related to an ability of a
person top realise his or her own worth. This present research will be discussing about various
aspects of sexting and its ways, along with its impact o self –esteem of a person.
Impact of sexting on youngsters and teenagers
Sexting can be considered as a part of sexual communication being conducted over
digital gadgets and other ways. In accordance with the views of, Drouin and Landgraff, (2012), it
serves as a basis through which individuals come close to each other for sexual relations, as well
as by which functions, meanings and impact of sexual relationships are also exchanged. Sexting
is increasing day by day due to evolvement and advancement of technology, due to which a new
type of sexual communication has evolved, which is known as virtual sexual communication.
Study have shown that college students use texting as a mode to build and boost their intimate
relationships.
In aspect of youngsters and teenagers, sexting has its own value. According to… , 94 %of
college students use cell phones to effect sexting. On the other hand, according to a study, 18-29
messages are sent by an adult for an aim of sexting. They use different methods and channels to
give effect sexting. These can be characterised as social media, sexual communication etc. in
view point of , Hasinoff, (2014), 73% of young people have a profile on social media networking
sites. People use various sites like Facebook, IM and other social networking groups.

descriptive etc. In this research, Descriptive method will be used, while collection of data and
