position. The framework does not only outline the professional skills required in the ICT sector
but also comprise of the knowledge, experience, and behavioral attributes, thus making it more
practical. ICT practitioners use the framework as a career development tool as they can assess
theirs through potential and set objectives.

Now that I have read and understood the SFIA framework, I would change my review and
highlight my current achievement to appear like a path to somewhere. According to the SFIA
framework, ICT practitioners develop throughout their career, and my achievements can be used
as a measure of my potential and an opportunity to satisfy the requirements of a higher job level.
The achievements can open up a chance to grow in my profession; hence, they should not be
