Positive approach or positive relationship with the suppliers should be the part of the
strategic plan of the organization as all the organization whether it is service based or product
based are dependent on the suppliers. Most of the organizations seem to have the issues with
suppliers. The organizations think that as they note the order they are in the controlling the
position and they can damage the position with any unreasonable demands that includes the
personal benefits (Brito, Brito and Hashiba 2014). Positive relationship with the suppliers can
help the organization to be benefited in the market. When the organizations understand the value
of them then they treat them as essential aspect of the organization (Jain et al. 2014). Positive
and loyal relationship with the suppliers also helps in building the good relationship with the
customer as well. Suppliers are also the vital part of the growth and good health of the business.
Negative relationship with the suppliers will occur when the suppliers will not be able in
delivering the product or service within time. Sometimes the drivers of the suppliers get
annoyed, rush the delivery and not polite while the organizations follows their principles of
product receiving (Schiele and Vos 2015). The suppliers sometimes do not offer the on-site visit
openly to the facility. When the customers misbehave, immediate damage is there to trust and
willingness of the suppliers, which makes a negative relationship between the suppliers and
organizations. The suppliers then can get the negative feeling in the industry and then the
suppliers can exit the contract or the relationship with the businesses. The unethical behavior
sometimes will not impact the suppliers but the unethical behavior should be considered for
serving the interest of the suppliers or the suppliers then will turn the cheek as this will be the
first example of these types of behaviors.
For maintaining the positive relationship and approach with the supplier is very essential
and paying the suppliers on time and regular communication, will make the relationship stronger

(Walker et al. 2016). For maintain thee positive approach, the organization should keep the
collaboration with the suppliers strong, which can influence the business in a positive way. If the
suppliers have any negative relationship with the organization, then they should conduct
meetings with the business authority in order to clear the misunderstanding. The organization
also should make some changes as per the demand or need of the suppliers if they have any.
In reply to the post of Eslam Edris:
This is true that the suppliers are very important aspect of the organization for influencing
the organization positively in multiple ways like the components of the Quality Suppliers, which
can influence the product quality of any organization negatively or positively. The higher quality
maximizes the satisfaction of the customer and this can add benefit to the organization. A
relationship with the suppliers really can be considered as the less than positive relationship can
affect the delivery time of the product inconsistently, which will not be right to the professional
aspect of the organization.
