MAIN BODY
Key challenges facing the shops when reopen their business and how business should manage
safety while attracting customers to sustain their business.
UK government has provided various guidelines related to safety policy so that shops can
manage their business safely. These 14 guides cover a range of different types of work. Many
businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of
vehicles. In this the shopkeepers needs to be engaged in following the hand hygiene and also
motivate their consumers to do the same (Nishiura and et.al., 2020). They must ensure that hand
sanitizers are been used by workers and they are also been kept in washroom. It has also been
analysed that business persons needs to be engaged in following the social distancing. The
business man also needs to be involved in cleaning the items or products frequently so that no
person faces infections. They need to also be engaged in making use of disinfectant so that better
safety can be provided to themselves and also to the consumers. Shopkeepers also need to be
engaged in providing hand drying facilities to consumers, they can be involved in arranging
electrical dryers. It has also been analysed that shop owners can also ask their employees to wear
gloves so that no infection is been caused to them. They also needs to be engaged in avoid
sharing work stations as this can increase risk of COVID-19. All these measures are really
important to reduce the risk related to infectious disease (Mehta And et.al., 2020).
